More dogs.

Had to put doors and top back on last week to deliver my daughter’s drahthaar to her in Miami. Was a great trip for both of us, except the part where he ate my granola bars and banana at the first bathroom break.

Swapped the factory rock rails for Goat Fab sliders. Now I can start pivoting around trees.

Icons 2.5 IR set at minimal lift.
26.5 inches front, 27.5 inches rear center hub to fender.
Retained the stock UCA for now as it provides ample range of motion and clearance through full droop. Only issue may be alignment specs, so will replace only if needed.

An issue with the Icons that have now been brought to my attention, the day after install, is tie rod clearance. Perfectly adequate straight on, but in contact with the boot at full turn. I guess we’ll see where this leads. 🙁

Not crazy about my angles either, but like above, we’ll see where it takes me.

I just noticed that your Bilsteins have the reservoirs mounted in different directions. :unsure:

I assume the ones in the top (left) photo are Badlands (non-Squatch) on the front (IFS), and the ones in the lower (right) photo are Sasquatch on the rear (solid axle), and the new interference with the ICONs and the tie rods is due to the lower position of the spring mount?

They are both Badlands specs. The fronts are a different design than Squatch, but the rear are the same design, although unique part number.

Interesting. I thought only Sasquatch model Bilsteins had the reservoirs mounted downward instead of upwards? :unsure: All of the Bilsteins on my Sasquatch suspension have reservoirs mounted downwards.

::Edit:: Added diagram…

Well, one change always affects another. With the Icons on, the brake lines where too short and the rear track bar angle was not ideal.

Add RC brake line relocation brackets and Rockjock rear track bar bracket and things are looking better.

Now waiting for the 35s to be back in stock.

Tested out the Icons. Not happy with how tight the front is, but am pleased with rear axle movement. Front is being bound by factory sway bar. I’m just waiting on Rockjock to design a bar for the Bronco.

Any more issues with the tie rod clearance or angles?
How is the ride compared to the factory Sasquatch setup?

Contemplating going with the Icons on a non Sasquatch Badlands.
