"live stream" camera in the MAP facility?

There is a little video of Rangers being assembled at MAP. Maybe they will do the same with the Bronco.

I like to watch live stream video feeds... A feed in the MAP would be great! Are there legal issues etc. that would prevent this?

Wouldn't be a whole lot to see since only a little over a 1,000 rolled off in May that's 35 a day. Who wants to wait 40 minutes to see one roll off.

Me. I'd put it on my second monitor and let it run all day.

They could put a little "Vin ID" plaque on screen and we'd get to see who's was rolling off. You could watch your own Bronco come off the line.

Heck yeah, I'd watch that... Partially, on the monitor I'm not using.

Most companies have the trusty old "NDA" and the "Proprietary info/content" clauses or postings.
Ours does.
Visiting customers/consultants/ auditors are not allowed to take any pictures unless I specifically allow it, and even then it is only of certain things.
It's just how it works nowadays.

I have been to a couple of plants (old Rouge plant in particular) and it was super cool. My buddy got to see his Mustang be built in 89 (25th anniversary 89 1/2 model). You really didn’t want to see the sausage made back then. It’s probably a bit more tame these days, but listening to many of the members here complain, can you imagine the nightmare live streaming would be? People would constantly complain, catch stuff, post comments etc. So little upside because people are often jerks. Plus the UAW would fight it as others mentioned, who wants to be on camera at work all day (not it ).

I actually don’t mind cameras... I’ve worked at numerous places with cameras inside. Besides, I’m so quick all they see is a blur anyway.

This is actually true! I logged into the MAP livestream and started watching……unfortunately there were some technical glitches and they had to take the video feed down…….I believe there was a winch or safari bar blocking the camera.

edit: Ford will be sending out a letter in May of 2022 letting everyone know a status of when they can expect the livestream to be back up.
