It seems that when I put my iPhone 11 Pro on the charging pad, it will keep the iPhone charged but won’t increase the charge of what is already displayed. My phone gets very hot. Any ideas?

Don’t put your phone on the LUX charging pad and it won’t overheat. Known issue. No known cure. I’m curious if I can simply pull the fuse for it so that it’s a usable cubby again. 🤷‍♂️

Mine has been working fine since I brought my Wildtrak home last August. Switched over to an iPhone 14 Pro so I don’t know if that helps since it’s newer. We know how Apple likes to screw with the older devices with their updates in hopes of getting the consumer to upgrade to the newest one

I don't use the phone cooker. The first time I used it my phone shutdown with an overheating warning. I wireless charge at home without issues but at the same time I am not having the phone run anything while charging at home.

Mine cooks my iPhone 12 like a turkey and charges for shit.

I know that Mabett guy makes a wireless charging pad for those that don't have LUX. I was thinking about swapping out the OEM to that one.

Android in my case. Option proven to be a lousy charger but a terrific small space heater. Thought of making an adapter that can hold a coffee cup and keep the contents warm. Now I use the charging cubby to store matches, random fireworks , small metal butane canisters, and ground cellulite. Happy motoring!

Mentioned the TSB to the service writer when I dropped off today. Said he couldn’t take the TSB # because they have to diagnose and look it up themselves. Anyone else have this happen or was he being a lazy bum?

Not so sure about that, Ive pulled codes for my 22' Mach 1 and taken them to the dealer for active exhaust problems. Also pics of the frayed wire on the harness didn't hurt... They were receptive to me getting a head start on the fix. I think it's going to vary dealership to dealership.

Don’t worry about pulling a fuse, just pop the trim right there and unplug it. Takes under 5 minutes.

Remove the oh shit handle, use trim remover tool or paint scraper to get in there and point towards the ceiling, give sharp pop upward in a few spots, you’re good to pull up the trim and unplug…

Mine is crappy with my iPhone 14 Pro as well. Doesn't charge worth a damn and runs way hot. I was just going to unplug it since I've got a charging setup on the dash. May wait and see how it works with the TSB though. Would be nice to have a second charging option for the wife's phone.

The TSB mentions 2022 models, but I just picked up my Bronco on Friday and have the same issue. Of course, I have a pretty old iphone (iPhone XS).
