I wasnt. F the 2.7
The Mansquatch (and any associated delay) has nothing to do with the 2.7L. That engine and transmission combo is still not being made available. The delay for the Mansquatch is very specifically for the 2.3L because it doesn't exist with the 2.7L.

Clearly, we have seen from the video that Sasquatch has to drive each and every Man-Squatch personally from an undisclosed location in the Pacific Northwest.

GOOD. This I knew. Why a delay for mansquatch at all? No new parts are needed for that config. And only myself and 5 other people even want it...so what gives? I don't even want velocity blue...I just said that in other threads as an example.

That doesn’t answer the reason for the delay.
Maybe a shortage of Chinese man-tran

There's alot of overlap there. Cost and timeframe determine choice.
A problem is that Feb/March is when Ford will tell us the expected build date for your order will begin. That is months after December when you have to choose the specifics for your build Order. Would be nice if when we sit down to place the build order we could know build date vs specific packages ordered.

For instance you want a BL in auto, 4 door, HT build date for your registration is approx July 2 nd week 2021. Change that to manual trans and build date is 3 rd week in March 2022. If customers were told that at order time there would be more reservations to order to sales.

If I find out two months after I place in a order that my 2021 Bronco will not be built till first quarter of 2022 Or 15 moths after order date is unrealistic for a purchase from me. That would make it 1.75 years after my registration down payment.

That is a guaranteed way to make sure I will be driving another 4 letter off road company vehicle and not a Ford.

Basically why I'm just gonna get a Badlands Manual with a stick and beadlock wheel option and not be bothered with Sasquatch
I really like that combo. I know they said Mansquatch delayed but I think it’s the manual transmission On a BL that is the delay. So I am thinking any manual transmission equipped Bronco will have the delay. Sasquatch has been planned for every trim level from the start. Only recently has manual been offered with all trim levels.

I ask because I don’t know, but are you thinking a manual BL will not be delayed until late 2021 production because they only announced man-squatch has delays?

I would happily wait until late '22 for my White, 2Door, BaseManSquatch.
My kid will start public school in August '22, So I'll have an extra $150 per week that can pay for it, lol. As it is, I have a somewhat low reservation #, and I imagine these will start delivering between November '21 and March '22. I'm gonna have to sell some more stuff, lol.

Makes no sense that that combo gets built any sooner...unless Goodyear can't keep up w/production...in which case I would prefer bfg kms. Wish they had a choice!

I’m fine waiting for the BaseManSquatch. I was originally going with a manual BL or BD but the 4 door Basemansquatch is hard to pass up @ $7k-$10k less OTD.
