Hi all,

It's now effectively winter here in Colorado and I don't have mud flaps on my 2022, 2 door Badlands. I do have rock rails, however, and the basic $53 front mud flaps from the Bronco Accessories site won't work. However, they offer an option for $499!!! (just for the front).

Are there any after market options that are recommended?

Thanks in advance!

They do work with some modifications. Just trace out the shape and cut with a Dremel.

Gatorbacks have some designed especially for rock rails and they work great!

I used the rally armor universal SUV sized flaps, they fit fine. Just need to drill the holes to line up with the existing ones on the bronco. I have had mine mounted via 3 bolts for about 6+ months now. You may need a spacer. I only did my front wheels, rears dont really have a good way to mount. So far it Works great, ZERO rock chips!

I have a Badlands with the factory rails. Just did a DIY using $28 Black Polymer Mudflaps 24x24" from Amazon (listed as 24x30 but spec is 24x24). Used one panel and split in two. Since I didn't screw up, I have a panel to use if I do rears. Made brackets from aluminum stock I had and a small purchase of 2" 90-degree aluminum angle stock. Stainless nuts/bolts flap to bracket. Used nylon wingnut/bolts to make quick removal of flap (or to access flare lever if needed) along with removing 2 nuts securing bracket to bottom of crash bar. Was able to get flap between rock rail and inner fender/crash bar. As installed, the bottom of the flap is about 7" from the ground. Now I need to find some mud/winter to test out.
