I recently purchased an 87 Foxbody mustang and towed it with a regular Uhaul flat trailer. The bronco towed it PERFECTLY. It felt like it wasnt really pulling a load. Lol the backup camera came in handy 👍🏾. For those that havent pulled a camper or a boat yet, DO IT. Not too big of course. Lol. Ive got a little over 9k on mine now btw 🤙🏾

This is it. Lol. YES IT CAN

Thats impressive. Hard to tell from the angle but it doesn't even look like it is squatting much if at all.

Awesome! I have a Foxbody and trailer that needs to get to Bandimere occasionally. Already have the tow package installed on my FE.

But but but you are breaking sacred door jam sticker laws. You know the internet is full of car insurance spys who are going to turn you in to your local authorities. Get out of the house now, take your Bronco to the hills where they wont find you!

Sorry I just hear that alot on here. I always knew this thing could handle atleast 5000lbs. If it sags because of poor trailer distribution you could always add air bags. Nice project you got there. I say put the 2.7 out of your bronco in it to make room for a 351/408 in your Bronco!

A 2.7 would wake up that chassis quite nicely. I have an '89 25th anniversary edition I transplanted an '88 Turbo Coupeville motor and '96 suspension into. Cheap fun cars with a horrific rear suspension design.

Ford Bronco My 2.7 Big Bend towed my Fox Body Mustang PERFECTLY 20211023_124714
I'm not surprised it towed well. Quick question, no issues with Uhaul renting you the trailer even though you're a soft top? That has been a standard ban by them for a few decades now.

What route did you go for adding a tow pig? Factory or Aftermarket? Did you settle for just the 4pin wire harness?

The world would be a better place if every Fox body Mustang simultaneously erupted into flames around the globe erasing its existence and only being left as a mere memory you tell your grand children about the ugliest Mustang ever made.

Anyways, that’s cool though, glad it towed it! 👍🏻

It is a ford four pin harness. I see the aftermarket harness looks way easier though. I am going switch to 7 pin once my new bumper is built and then incorporate the trailer brake and charging circuits as well.

A turbo LS works pretty well too! ;) The rear suspension hooks up great for a run down the track. There are certainly better platforms for the turns at the end! LOL
