Please explain the real advantage of not using the stock midpipe and simply hooking to axle back. What do you gain using the FM midpipe?
No one ever told me this when I was buying a twin turbo engine! I am ripping both out ASAP!From a technical aspect a turbocharged motor does not have the same exhaust tone as a non-turbocharged/naturally aspirated motor. After combustion the exhaust leaves the motor and travels through the turbo which "chops" up the exhaust pulses which in turn effect the "tone" of the exhaust.
or in simpler terms instead of boom, boom, boom, it comes out booooooooooooooooooom.

Oops! Typo on the links. As far as the numbers, they are accurate. The only modification done to the test Bronco was the exhaust. The cat-back is upsized on the mid-pipe to allow for ample flow with further modifications such as a cold air intake.
