Wheel travel and shock travel are completely different measurements. 6" of shock travel does not equal 6" of wheel travel. 12" of wheel travel does not equal 12" of shock travel.
That's why I said we need the bilstein measurements to calculate the wheel travel and bump stops. King only specifies the shock travel.

Interested in the Bilstein setup since they’ve had so much time to work on it.
I’ll be running 37’s from day one on the SAS setup, but surely won’t be able to wheel it until I find a quality lift. Waiting patiently.

King coilover specs are published. It would be nice to know how this compares to sasquatch to understand the wheel travel and bump stops.

Badlands 33" wheel travel is 9.45" front and 10.28" rear. I wonder if FOX is comparing the front or rear?
I gave this data in another thread earlier today but I know stuff can get spread out pretty fast...

FA - full stroke (metal to metal) 161mm or 6.3"
RA - full stroke (metal to metal) 239mm or 9.4"

king-13 month wait with no established shaft travel or total travel numbers.

Fox gets about 11'' with an upper arm.

It looks like the King coilovers were optimized for 2" lift over SAS. Hopefully the other manufacturers will publish full specs for comparison. The King extension is more than I expected - equal to 1.5" spacer on sasquatch. If Fox is 11" travel, 37" tires may rub significantly on compression.

Lots of good info in here. Can't wait to see the results. I plan on staying stock until more coilovers are out there being tested. I like the Fox ones Fun Haver has showed but we shall see.

Where did all this data come from? How'd you get the suspension ratio?

Im trying to interpret it here.

This is all respective to front axle only?
left side is "eye to eye" measurements and right side is shaft travel from rest.

9.45 total travel bilstein VS 9.12 total travel king travel.......Ya?

SO currently stock has more travel and ESCV bumps.

The second king tuning video definitely had rear compression too fast, the ass was bouncing noticeably. Would love to see a stock bronco next to that ifp king truck at barstow.....

This is based on the complete Sasquatch coilover data from Silent Panda: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...w-position-sensitive-dampers.5481/post-821828

I only compared the front so far. I converted shock travel to wheel travel based on badlands wheel travel spec and sasquatch shock specs (ratio 1.5 for front, 1.09 for rear). The front wheel travel is slightly less for King, but better balanced for 2" lift and 37's. The coilovers don't have eyes, so I assumed they were both measured mating surface to mating surface.

The way I read Kings info is in damper travel...the result being a .25" reduction in travel in FA and a full inch of reduction in travel for the rear...

Fun Haver is coming soon.
I'd go king or fox over fabtech ALL DAY LONG, but that's like my opinion, man.
The make shocks, but that's not their forte'
This is what I'm waiting on...I understand it's OEM also...
