No XM Radio?

Just picked up a pre owned 2022 Outerbanks with the Lux package. Figured it has everything. But I got in it tonight and for the first time I used the radio instead of my CarPlay, I hit source and no XM radio option listed. Is this normal or something I need to take to a dealer? I can’t find the original window sticker in the car, but surely this thing came with XM, right?

Isn’t it SiriusXm now? It should have the equipment there.

It's included free for the first 3 months. Afterwards it requires a subscription, about $15 a month

You probably need to subscribe. You only get it free for the first 3 months on new vehicles.

Yea, I know you have to subscribe, but the XM option isn’t even on the source menu. Nothing showing. I got AM, FM and Bluetooth. I did find the window sticker, it’s supposed to have it, so off she goes to the dealer tomorrow to get fixed.

You can remove that option from the menu using Forscan... betcha the previous owner did just that.

This happened on my husbands 2022 F150. The sales guy said nothing but looking at the window sticker, it had been deleted at the factory and he received a credit of $232. He is not happy, but can use my subscription through Apple CarPlay as an alternative.

FYI, if you ask, there is a music and entertainment package available from SXM for $5.99/mo.

So, got an update. I took the truck to the local ford dealer, apparently, the truck was built and originally bound for Puerto Rico. It never made it there, was dealer traded to a dealer here in Texas before it left port. Anyway, vehicles bound for PR, Alaska or Hawaii don’t get XM. This is confusing to me because XM IS available in PR at least and my window sticker says I get it. @Ford Motor Company can you assist?

I just Bluetooth the SiriusXM app to the Bronco through Android Auto. My dd has a subscription for $6 a month forever and I don't see the point in adding a sub to the Bronco. Hell, I haven't driven it in 3 weeks except once to get dog food, lol
