Why not just leave the corner on and let the A-pillar block it? Bad design choice.

Noticed this immediately too and thought interesting. Definitely corner cut off because that’s right where the a-pillar blocks it, but even though it makes sense it is still unusual! How much is saved by cutting this corner…

Just because one mirror has to be out further per the as mentioned a pillar, Ford didn't just stick the other one out further so they, looked the same. If you notice, your rearview mirror isn't mounted exactly in the middle of the windshield, same deal.

Oh and while your at it, they have an antenna on one side, and not the other

Filling out the corner of the mirror so it’s a rectangle instead of an irregular pentagon wouldn’t have negatively impacted visibility.

No just would have made it useless cuz you can't see it from the driver's seat. Save material, less waste, save the planet. Guarantee it was on a PowerPoint on weight savings as well as environmental.

I originally thought that the Bronco would be a little big for my girlfriend to want to drive. After our test drive Monday she said she was perfectly fine with it. She used to be an EMT and drove an ambulance daily. I should have known better.

She has major OCD so now I have a angle. Thank you!!!

The early Broncos had different mirrors on both sides, if they were even equipped with a passenger side mirror. Not sure why folks are getting all wrapped around the axle about this topic. The fact that some folks didn't notice the difference until a month into ownership tells you a lot about how much this doesn't matter.
