BOSS "Walker Link" Sway Bar Shock System for '21+ Bronco (boss4x4.com)

Improve your driving experience with a set of BOSS “Walker Links”. These units replace the standard front sway bar link and provide a smoother initial ride over rough and uneven terrain regardless of vehicle speed while still providing a confident feeling while cornering. With 1.5" of dampened action per side your shocks will be able to act independently until a point where the Walker Link has collapsed enough to now act like a rigid link under heavy loads and when cornering. You get the best of both worlds with these links, a more independent shock action at the initial stroke and a solid support under heavy loads, turning and when leaning on the sway bar. Provides additional wheel travel and stability without the need to disconnect the sway bar. Perfect for those without the Badlands factory Sta-bar disconnect.

We've been testing these links on some of the hardest trails in So Cal, including Doran Canyon in Calico and Gold Mountain in Big Bear, as well on-road getting to the trails on the curvy mountain roads.

Very cool. If I wasn’t Badlands equipped, this would be the best of all worlds! I’m interested to see if you can even “double up” with the FSD.

After having already toasted a FSD (driving too hard on undulating terrain), this might offer a bit of cushioning to avoid popping another one after the warranty period.

Is it possible for you folks to show quantification of the articulation figures between stock, straight disconnect, and then with your product?

looks very cool. Is there any reason why this wouldn’t work on a Hoss 3.0 suspension?

Second this.

Neat concept but bit of a spend, IMO, if it comes up short vs gains from straight disconnect

We used the JKS Flex Connect on one of our JK's and that worked pretty slick. Very similar to this. I'll be looking at these.

I agree - I would be very curious to see a quantification of the effectiveness. The stroke travel is only 1.5" and I would guess more would be needed to be comparable to a disconnect but let us see. (note: both sides have 1.5" stroke but it doesn't function additively if you math it out)

You would get 1/2 of each side (on paper). So it would be a total of 1.5" of free movement. Then of course the bar would flex some. It would be interesting to see what the difference was on a CTI trailer. I'm confident that a full disconnect is still going to have more "flex".

Agreed, this looks the same as the UTV ones with a custom mount made by BOSS. Price I'm sure includes the mount as these are $400 for just the Walker Links. Be curious how long they last before needing a rebuild, looks like a great idea.

Thank you for the interest! After testing, we are pretty excited to release this product for those without a Badlands. We appreciate all the questions and feedback and will do our best to get more info out soon.

Is it possible for you folks to show quantification of the articulation figures between stock, straight disconnect, and then with your product?
We will be getting the articulation numbers in the next few days. We expect that a full disconnect is going to yield more wheel travel, but it is often hard to get it reconnected. Also, these shocks are beefier than the stock links and improve the ride quality as well.

looks very cool. Is there any reason why this wouldn’t work on a Hoss 3.0 suspension?
Thanks! It should work, but we do have a Wildtrak lined up to get this system test fitted.

@Boss Broncos custom mounts, do tell? Will you be developing for rear sway bar or will the fronts work there?
We built the lower mount that bolts to the control arm, and the upper mount requires a machined bolt and custom misalignment spacers. The rear is completely different.

What is the projected price?
$495 introductory price with free shipping. Price includes mounts and shocks for both sides of the sway bar.

These look the exact same as the ones we use on our Can Am X3s. They really help to keep you planted!
Exactly! Walker Evans developed them for the UTV market, but we worked with their engineers to adapt it to the Broncos. Often with UTVs you'll only run it on one side, but we determined that it works better on both sides and is still very stable.
