Mabett sells a set of OEM looking tail lights that work with the non LED wiring as well. They are simply plug and play.

They have:
Red: https://amzn.to/48Y3b2G
Smoked: https://amzn.to/4bkBm6g

Alternatively:
Raptor style: https://amzn.to/42ih4pL

Here are a couple of install videos too:

So the Mabett tail lights didn’t quite work out, the passenger side trim sticks out the light goes in and out
If I tap it it lights up
So I’ll be sending them back
What did you do with your OEM tail lights?

Hey everyone,
I’m looking at swapping my standard taillights to OEM LED
besides the dealer, any recommendations on where I can get an inexpensive set?
Its a Ford part. So you have to buy it from a dealer or someone who sells OEM Ford Parts. You can find used ones on eBay sometimes.

Since no one's mentioned it the Signature lights use different plugs than standard lights so it's not a direct swap. Some of the aftermarket led's do come with the correct plugs but most of then are cheap Chinese junk that don't work right.

Ford OEM lights are expensive because Ford can make a lot of money on people's bad driving. I wonder what the real cost are for those for Ford?? Made in China for $100 a pair probably.

Good info to know. I was thinking of going Mabett, but I’m insure now. Also, there are so many Chinese variants on eBay, I don’t know what to trust. I guess the only option is Oracle or Quake LEDs?

I ended up getting some OEM take offs, tried 2 different ones from Ebay and were no good. I did have to adjust the modules via forscan

So everything works correctly? How can you tell they are OEM when the knockoffs look like the real thing?

I need to find some OEMs to swap to and get back on Forscan. I haven’t played with that program in 2 years on my former Explorer. Anybody got some for sale?

they were OEM's it had the ford logo and part #s on the, and yes after I made the changes in the BCM module they work fine - a huge relive.
