Under 12 yr olds are required by law to be in a car seat or booster. Welcome to lawyer land. A car seat or booster is out of the control of the event or venue and therefore could be a liability in an event of crash or collision

only about half of the 10 hrs is driving the bronco which was not enough. I didn’t want to leave the seat for lunch.

Exactly. I was going to camp, but I found a place right in town for $75 a night.

Also keep in mind that you will be reimbursed about $450 - roughly half of that a couple weeks after the event and the rest after you close the deal on your Bronco. The cost for myself and a buddy was a lot upfront, but I'm getting most of it back.

It's High Season in Moab - when the temps are under 100!

Stay in town. Still expensive (in relative terms) through November. I got an under $200 rate at the Adventure Inn. I've mentioned it a couple times. I really hope it's as nice a little motor court as it was when I stayed there a few years ago. Seems to have been sold to new ownership. I'll know in a few weeks.

I got a surprise email from Off Rodeo, I paid $419 for my wife to attend with me, I did not have the email coupon for $250, but they refunded my account $265 for guest yesterday.

Rodeo was worth the cost even before this refund.

Does anybody remember when they sent out the email coupons for the $250? I could've sworn I got it but am having a hard time finding the email now.

We went Labor Day weekend. There was a guy there with his son, who looked to be around 10-12 as well. They were in another group!

Unless you're fancy, check out the Virginian. It's downtown and you can get two beds and a kitchenette super cheap.

Honestly, I usually sleep in my car or in a tent, so this is going to be an upgrade for me.

The base rate I see is $339, which appears to be their minimum. By the time you throw on taxes, and you are at $379.

It's a resort. It's what they charge.

I saw base rates under $75 in Moab.

It's all what you want in your accommodations.
