There’s been mixed info, but some have stated all 7000 FEs will be produced... any that aren’t claimed by a reservation holder (because they cancelled or order a different trim) will go to the regions to be sold by dealerships as stock.
Not sure if that’s the explanation here, but it’s something.
There were many here claiming they cancelled theirs and switched to a different model. I don't think Ford offered up those that were cancelled for a 2nd chance.

You can decode or re-code (build a VIN that works in a a decoder) a VIN, that does not mean it has been built, assigned or can be sold. A dealer may have ordered an FE for an individual and I suppose they could add it to stock, but it would likely bring penalties and issues with Ford. It is more likely a marketing ploy to get attention. None of the mannequins are supposed to be sold for several months and I have heard of dealers already facing penalties on the Sport demos when they came out. My dealer did offer one to me to test drive or use as a loaner, but they actually kept it off the lot to avoid issues when inventory was super low earlier in the year.

how long does it take for a bronco to be produced from start to finish?

Not positive, These probably take longer then your typical production assembly vehicle because they are probably still doing troubleshooting and making adjustments.
58 a hour when they are up and running, while also running 48 Rangers per hour.
Any rough guesses on if this is a "long term" ratio, 58:48, or of it is only an initial ratio?
Thank you for your insight into the production process.
How many shifts? Is that 58/hr for 18 hrs/day?

Two shifts per day, and I believe they are planning Saturdays on a two on / one off rotation once they reach full production speed.
