Sorry to hear about your hail damage. I'm in the same boat with my Sport. How 'ya been?

Got about 5 dings on my hood while at work. A friend of mine owns a body shop up in Elk River, he'll help me out. PM me if you want to head that far north.

Finally got a build date, 6/6, then bumped to 6/13. Hope it sticks. I'm sure I've missed a bunch of trail rides. Hopefully I can get it this summer yet. Have to get the dents fixed as I'm trading it in back to Granger on my Bronco.

Edit: I think on average shops charge about $125 per dent to remove.

Edit again: Smaller dents might come out using the hot glue gun technique. Larger dents they'll go in from behind to work it out.
Congrats on the build date! I've been doing pretty well. I haven't really been out much since you and I went to Nemadji, but I'm hopefully getting a long camping trip in soon. I installed my roof rack and was going to install my rooftop tent but I broke one of the mounting studs for the roof rack! So I'm holding off on the tent until the dealership can get that stud fixed.

Elk River ain't too far. Let me figure out if PDR would work and if I'm brave enough to try it myself, otherwise, I'll hit you up. Thanks!

Good PDR guys work some real magic. I’ve worked in a few body shops when I was younger and having seen what a pro can do, and how good they can get it I’ve never wanted to even consider trying it myself.

I caught the tail end of the storm on the way home but missed the hail.

Good to know! I'd rather pay a pro than have it look worse after a botched DIY lol.
Seeing as how I park outside a lot, maybe I should wait until after summer so I don't have hail damage later in the summer and have to do it again within a few months.

Ah, suppose I could read your notes at the bottom of your posts. But roughly 2 weeks is awesome, even with 2-dr, MIC, MT and SAS.

Got all your chips too?

I have hope then for a quick delivery with build 6/13 2-dr, MIC, MT, no SAS.

I think there are enough Bronco's in MN, we need to schedule a ride this summer.

Yeah, not as many chips in a Base, but I guess I have them all 👍🏼

Anyone know a good body shop to handle a warranty claim? One of the mounting studs for my roof rack broke off a few weeks ago. Saw in another thread that someone else had theirs repaired under warranty. Brought mine into Superior Ford over 3 weeks ago and they still have not received approval on the warranty claim. I even sent them info for the additional premium warranty I purchased and still nothing. Idk if they are actually having a hard time getting it approved or if they are just dropping the ball, but I'm not happy about wasting this much of spring/summer waiting to put my RTT up there. Because of my job, July and August are almost impossible for me to go camping and June is ticking away as I wait for Superior Ford to figure it out.
