That‘s ridiculous!I’ll have to look when it’s not so cold out as to how it bolts on. Even tho I have the modular bumper I hope it doesn’t have to come all the way off. To access the bolts.
Not only many layers of manufacturing and assembly QC, but Ford PDI seems to suck too.I was thinking, how'd that pass inspection, but i don't think Ford had QC anymore
Even qc from the parts supplier, no one cares anymore
"At Ford, quality is 1 man's Job" was how we quoted it."Quality is Job #1". Oh never mind, that was from a long time ago.
If they will let me do it I will. Had my Super duty in for recall and they broke the plastic lock cap that goes up and down! It’s a smooth plastic part that threads on by hand. Even tho they had to remove the door panel it’s a smooth part that should slide right out of the panel. If they can split that in half not sure I want them doing anything bigger.Have your dealer order a replacement. They just bolt on. Super easy.
Do not google "Hymen Shackle" unless you want to learn something new today. That’s actually a German designed recovery point. The Hymen Shackle is designed to be compatible with specialized time delayed D rings. After your bronco goes through it’s break in period it’ll let you know when it’s ready. Don’t force it the first time.
