For those w/the 2.3L I4 engine, Ford has this P/N L1MZ-6A949-C engine cover for their Ford Ranger 2.3L Engine, for those who want to cover up all those ugly hoses on their engine.

I just ordered one, which includes the mounting fasteners, on eBay, for US $229.99, for the '19 thru '23 Ford Ranger Lariat model.

It's an easy installation and makes the engine bay cleaner.

Gives mice and other rodents a good spot to hide&eat&shit as well.

Rural folks will know.
Yep. Bastards cost me over $2500 in damage to my F350 from their nest under the turbo catching on fire.

Every vehicle now gets electronic rodent deterrents installed right away.

I would imagine that's the case if people seldom use their vehicles, but anyway, it's a suggestion if interested.

I drive my Bronco daily.

Just got a 2020 Ranger Lariat and figured that it would bolt up. Not really interested - but, it’s been cool exploring the similarities and differences between the two platforms. The Ranger definitely has some features I wish the Bronco had.

At the time, the F350 was my daily driver. They move in fast!

Like @HighVelocity .. That doesn't matter in my neck of the woods.. aggrivatingly.

Tried-n-true methods to keep them at bay like mothballs and dryer sheets don't do a damn either.. they'll use the dryer sheets as bedding and chew on the mothballs.

Shoot, my TJ's been parked over a year waiting for a transmission install, and I saw a mouse the other day in the driveway near it. Now you got me freaking out.

I haven't done that much diving into the Ranger/Bronco parts bin, except for thinking about an brake upgrade, but I love seeing what other OEM stuff there is. Is there any kind of comparison or list of what kinds of stuff us Bronco folks could use from the pick-up?

That would be a fun project. I know they share oil filters too!

Is it a cigarette plug in or battery? I'd love a link, I live in an area where filed mice run wild....

Got the cover installed today.
Very easy.
It definitely looks a whole lot better vs. the bare engine. 😉

Back in the day, you could get a “part compatibility “ book for corvettes. Gave you the $$$$ corvette part # and the $ gm general part number ( same brake disk used on a plethora of gm products but $$$ for the corvette identifier)

maybe a cross compatibility sticky on the forum would be nice.
Heck there might already be one and my google-fu is just weak.
