My buddy had a scout when I was in high school in middle of nowhere Kansas. Lots of good memories. I am getting the Outer Banks with squatch. May pull off the side steps. If I can find a good shop I may have them paint the top, but I want to give it a few weeks before pulling trigger on that. Tint window. I like the classic Bronco Insignia so will probably change out to those. Change out the oh shit blue accent handles for either black or another after market. So many options. …
I have to say I really like my Roast/Onyx color scheme. Very peaceful, and the tan dash absorbs the glare nicely! Below is another members white top painting ( not sure if paint or wrap). I like the look, so far. At the bottom, mine on the OBX beach

Good looking rides. Did you come across any soft sand?

Like others have suggested you absolutely should take delivery of the current build. Sucks it’s not the color you want but the alternative is to pass and let the dealer mark it up with a healthy ADM.

Why let the dealer cash in? Drive it for awhile then sell it. No brainer.

Ballpark on how many miles you could put on and break even? I have an 06’ Lexus 470 , 220 K miles. Mechanically sound. Maybe I should hold it instead of selling or trade?

I’m no car dealer but it’s a sellers market. I personally think it’s going to be that way for a while longer given issues across manufacturers. I bought my 2019 F350 Oct of 2019 used for 65k. I’ve seen my truck selling for $75k+ locally. Crazy times.

The Bronco is a hottest vehicle on market. In my area they don’t exist at msrp. $10k minimum markup. If I were in your shoes I would take delivery 1000%. If you don’t want to see how it plays out with ownership for awhile sell it for a small markup to make worth your time. Just my .02.
