Where are you seeing the JCR bracket? It's not on their site that I can find.

So you can do ditch lights and an antenna on the same mount?
Good Q. I have no use for ditch lights. So you can do ditch lights and an antenna on the same mount?
@Cousin Eddie Any luck getting any further on your install? I think my CB antenna will be best suited for the rear tire or tailgate are too. Curious to know how your bracket worked out. I like the looks of it.Just finished the rough fabrication of my antenna bracket. Still need to straighten it a bit, grind, sand, paint. Will also be adding some rubber to the back side just to be safe. I'll post more pics this weekend when I get time to clean it up.
I'd think the light would cause interferenceSo you can do ditch lights and an antenna on the same mount?
It works well; however, I did snap an antenna after driving aggressively on a bumpy dirt road. Too much flex in the bracket whipped the antenna to the point it failed at the plastic base. The bracket needed some stiffening or more padding between it and the tire/tail gate to stabilize it.@Cousin Eddie Any luck getting any further on your install? That looks like a good solution. I've never had a jeep nor installed a two way radio before. I wasn't sure what would work or wouldn't so I tried to come up with something on my own. I will most likely switch to this antenna mount option. Thanks for posting!I am going this route:

Nice! I like that. Trying to figure out something that’s accessible and not permanent. My setup
Nagoya NMO Lip Mount
Browning Antenna (GMRS tuned)
AnyTone AT-778UV Radio (temporary, Wouxun KG1000 on order)
Powered by Aux switch #6
Exactly, I forget its there half the time. I noticed there was a bunch of space underneath the steering column (after that metal bracket is removed) so I threw some velcro on the radio mount and just stuck it underneath. Those rubber flaps really sandwich it in there so it doesn’t move at all.Nice! I like that. Trying to figure out something that’s accessible and not permanent.
Oh so there's no cutting involved for that location? That's great!Exactly, I forget its there half the time.
