You showed yours, I'll show mine. Sold six weeks from order received and seven days late. Think most of our Dirt Mountain friends would take it.

You had to get out and actually walk into McDonalds back then. And the drink cups were so small they were empty before you got back to the truck.Just how many cupholders? NONE! lol
That's probably why we found the build sheet of a different bronco in my 66 u14. Mine was a 9/65' build u14 and I had a 8/65' u15 build sheet in the springs under the seat lol.Was a lot easier to build a vehicle back then. From the UAW down to the components, it was easier to get the job done. It was physically harder for the assembly line workers for sure, but total vehicle construction was a lot more basic. I once read an article that claimed in 1968, the rear end assemblers on the Mustang line had three minutes to select the correct rear end axle per the build sheet and install. They had forty five different axles set ups to select from. Today they have three selections. Times have changed.
Forgot about those.nope. 2 on the back of the glovebox door. Remember drive in movie theaters?
McDonald's was a special event. Maybe once a year at best. Now it's once a year for other reasons. LolYou had to get out and actually walk into McDonalds back then. And the drink cups were so small they were empty before you got back to the truck.
Here’s mine…kinda funny “IF” Ford could somehow figure out a way to build a $3600 true 4WD with a V8, zero plastic and all the electronics in today’s money for even $18k-$20k they would most likely be the most popular vehicle on the road. Yeah, I know, union wages NHSTA, CAFE and today’s safety standards would make that unlikely, but it’s been done before…back in the day, even Suzuki made it happen with the Samurai. I consider the new Bronco to be a nod to the original, but in no way is it a resurrection of the original. That looks a lot like my '70 build did. V8 and all it was $3600 OTD.
Thanks for sharing these, I really like seeing the history of the Bronco. It always amazes me to see what the orderable options were back in the day, like the 'Right Hand Side Mirror', 'AM radio', and 'Cigar Lighter'. Much simpler times.
The build sheets for my 1970 Mach 1 was located under the rear and drivers seat. That's probably why we found the build sheet of a different bronco in my 66 u14. Mine was a 9/65' build u14 and I had a 8/65' u15 build sheet in the springs under the seat lol.
In 53 years when they're building our pre-orders, I'm sure the dealer units will also be ahead of schedule. Not only were they actually building broncos, a lot of them were built a head of schedule lol.
