Yea tire shops won’t repair on last tread row due to blowout liability from damaged belt. Never use slime. Get a good Thandle and driver plug kit. Walmart has them for around $15 and put one in every car. They are lifesavers. Personally I’d plug that one and roll on. Be advised you may need a hammer to tap on the rasp tool to widen the hole.

No. I don’t rotate because the supposedly mileage increase provided through rotation disappears the second one of the tires suffers a puncture that can’t, or won’t be repaired.
I didn't bother to rotate on my last several vehicles either, but that's because living in Arizona, my tires almost always become unsafe due to sun-rot well before they reach the wear bars on the tread. Sold an Expy when my Bronco finally showed up, hadn't been driving that much, and the tires still had 50% wear left (but were 6 years old and cracking)

For the OP, I'd patch and move it to the spare position.

I could just plug it?

that screw doesn’t look that deep, did it actually go all the way through? If it didn’t just remove the screw and you’re done. Putting in a plug you would have to finish t

Try another shop. I had one like that and one shop said no, the other down the road fixed it and I never had an issue with it.

Ford Bronco Screw in tire can’t be fixed. Use as spare? 738F629A-62D7-456D-8CD9-3C25DD4A3EE4
That puncture location is still able to be patched from inside. That screw is small enough that I bet the once backed out would not have done any damage to the structural integrity. I personally hate plugs, and rather have a patch. I would bet any used tire outlet would patch that right up and that tire would be fine. New tire outlets will say anything to get you to buy new.

I just got a good deal at simple tire. Best price plus 5% off by signing up and another 5% military. Then bring it to get the sensor swapped and balanced. Should be closer to $300 total… $400 is a rip-off full price.

So I got a screw in my tires that came on the Sasquatch. They have about 7000 miles on them and will cost about $400 to get a new tire discount tire stated that since it’s located near the edge they cannot patch it. I don’t wanna waste money on a new tire, so I just had them put the spare tire in its place. Now my spare is the one with the screw. Is there anything I can put in my tire such as that green goop so I can have it in case I need it in the future for emergency reasons.

Do it more as a complete premium tire repair kit with "trickflate" badging... Include a Plug Kit, Patch Kit, valve Stems and cores, core remover, digital pressure guage, and one of these things;

https://www.amazon.com/AME-51025-Quick-Valve-Change/dp/B005K8E9FY

Put it in a nice pouch or roll, and sell it for between $79 and $99...

I'll buy one!
Does this kit work on a Bronco? Is Bronco valve stem .453? Seems like a nice addition to the tire repair kit.

Discount said that can't be repaired?!?!?!?!?
UTTER BULLSHIT!!!
Take it to a NON-DISCOUNT TIRE place; give them $20, they will take it off the rim, patch it, reinstall, and you can use it for the REST of the tread life.
I usedta be a fan of Discount Tire...NOT ANY MORE!!!
They screw people more than Ford Dealers!!!
