I've changed from dual to soft top to get the 200k FordPass points, now if I'm not a September build I'd like to wait to MY22 build.

Suggestions on how to do that if I'm not scheduled in September?

ETA i have plenty of sins 2.7, lux, SAS

Also if I went MIC now would I still be 200k ford points eligible?

First Editions, have been and almost always will be, the worst deals out there. Basically no added benefit regardless of manufacturer.

Unless you place a value on exclusive color, interior, included accessories and getting a MY21.

My current plan is to stay at PC 10 through next week and the September scheduling in a few weeks. If I don’t make the August or September cut—or if something truly compelling comes out about 2022 before then—I am going to move to PC 99.

That is kinda where I am at, my wife really wants it to be a 21, but if MY22 opens up better options, I may 99 my order to convert to MY22 to skip potential Oct-Dec 21 build.

I switched at my dealer on Tuesday. Went SOFT BL to a SOFT, BD, mid, 2.3. My deduction is this consider as a "new" even though I was already sift top and place in a September build. That sound right to you?

Your math is right. But they are going to be producing at least 200 vehicles per shift with two shifts per day 5 days per week, plus a Saturday shift starting after Labor Day.

So, they'll have 800 vehicles produced in under two days.

It's only aesthetic changes, if someone really likes the blue interior/exterior then I get that but otherwise, meh. Wouldn't totally doubt that some people get OBX/Badlands/Wildtrak this year with the Lux.

Black leather trimmed vinyl, the only good looking interior available and I guess you've missed the hundreds of members who are upset because they reserved on 7/13-14 with commodity constraints and most likely looking at MY22, or forced to switch to soft top and wait 2+ years to order a hard top. I'll pay the extra to avoid all that, thanks tho.

I'm quite disappointed with the entire process. Having a reservation date of July 14 and an order date in early March, I was certain I'd get a '21 model year but from the sound of everything I bet mine will be a '22 now. I sure hope the roll out of the F-150 Lightning will be managed better.

I feel the pandemic messed allot of this up. Nobody really understood the repercussions or the aftermath. I feel the lightning will go much smoother due to not launching during covid. I have a 4dr BL, HT, 2.7, HIGH, LUX, SAS, with Tow ordered. I imagine I won't see till next year. No big deal, definitely getting pumped seeing all of forums Broncos!

Just so I’m clear, I reserved within the first 40 hours, order placed in March (outer banks with Lux and towing), and you’re saying there’s no chance I’ll be getting my bronco this year? My res is with you so your info is very telling for me.
My problem is Ford won’t let me switch to a soft top (which is what I actually want) on a 2 door but tells me I can’t get my vehicle because of hard top issues. I live in Georgia, I don’t want a hard top. We get around 6 days of winter every year. This is beyond frustrating.

Just to be clear, there were over 60,000 reservations in the first 24 hours. An early day 3 reservation is going to be pretty far down the list, especially at a place like Granger where a ton of enthusiasts with first day reservations went to get a better deal. That said, he didn't say there was no chance, he said it's unlikely.

@Zach@Granger is talking about Granger’s 21MY allocation from total Bronco production in the 6 Bronco production months of this year (June-November). Granger’s total 21MY Bronco allocation for retail units is 203 vehicles. 104 retail units + 3 demo units (“mannequins”) have already been scheduled for production and will be built and shipped in coming weeks. That leaves 99 retail units in his remaining 21MY allocation to be scheduled in the latter part of this year.

An individual dealer’s allocation will always be less than total plant production for the product line, because other dealers also have their own allocations to fill.

Bottom line: Zach was really only talking about his allocation or share of total production in 21MY, and not total production statistics for the Michigan Assembly Plant (MAP) that is building the Bronco.

Everything Ford has transmitted indicates the 2-door production is limited based on the MIC top; Ford has indicated such since the beginning of the year.

Because PREMIERdrum has said as much, as did Mr. Farley during a conversation with a 2dr 6g and BN forum member……was told to be patient and trust him regarding 2dr solution. Plus, Ford hasn’t done the knee-jerk switch to a soft top option for 2drs, which could indicate confidence in meeting the 25-30% demand for 2dr MIC top builds.

And, to a lesser degree….my GSM told me to not switch from a 2dr MiC, to a 4dr Soft top because his contacts are telling him there is going to be a focus on 2dr MIC top production in the upcoming weeks.

All speculation at this point, but all the recent information has been favorable, or at least much more positive than the situation just 3-4 weeks ago.

And because I desperately need this to be true.

We recently received communication for our Bronco allocation for the month of September. This could be helpful for you regardless of where you purchased your Bronco to get an idea on production flow.

To Recap

26 - Initial Allocation (+2 Mannequin Units)
43 - Second Allocation
5 - August production of First Editions (scheduled this week)
30 - September production (+1 mannequin unit)
107 Production commitment in total.

So we've received 104 of our 203 total retail orders allocated to us +3 stock/mannequin units.

That leaves 99 units of production left for the month of October and November in 2021. This makes sense with the increasing production rate of the plant and I've been reassured that we will get our entire 2021 allocation estimate production in 2021.

The final 3 months of production are going to be very FE heavy. We have 42 First Editions and have 9 total produced up until this point. So if you have sasquatch/lux package and not first edition, my uneducated guess is that the chances of your vehicle being produced is slim as a 2021 compared to another lower trim without those options. They are going to need to allocate a lot of those commodities to the FEs that need to be built. I've also been told if you are FE no need to worry about yours being produced in 2021, it will get built.

I’m a Granger res, I have an early 7/14 reservation Big Bend 4dr with MIC and SAS are my chances just as bad as those with Sas and Lux or are they slightly better? Thanks for all your communication
