I honestly don't understand how people still have energy to get upset about things that we know are mistakes in the B&P.

This has been discussed, and I thought that we understood that the B&P was weird, and that all MIC tops have the same interior color...

Additionally, I thought that even the MOD top interiors were going to be the same color as the MIC tops because they share the same underlying construction.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but the interior of the modular black top is black. The MIC interior is brownish tan. (At least according to Build and Price which we all know is the most reliable source ever!!)

You keep telling yourself that. That gloss black finish top going to show every scratch and swirl mark. I’m happy with the mic top

I find it hard to believe the painted top getting scratched is a big concern since most owners will never go off road. Those that do will likely have at least as many scratches on the body as the roof.

The gunner's hatch, a removable panel over rear seats on the 2-door, is unique to the 2-door Modular Top

There are two different types of tops available, and they differ still depending on whether it is the 2 or 4 door.

We have seen images of the inside where it connects and the latches... but not removed.

Two things can be true at the same time. If going Wildtrak, shadow black mod is a must imo. MIC just doesn't work as well with the gloss black grill and mirrors. Painted Mod top was the original design for a reason. That being said, it will likely scratch more and the MIC is more "durable" choice. If taking top on and off frequently, one may want to consider that.

Most importantly, do whatever makes you happy

That's right.
I expect to have pin striping down the sides of the body and the top alike.
If a BLACK MIC was offered I would get that over the painted top, but that's life.

I am like 99.99 percent set on AMB. I am not sure how the black painted top will look with how dark AMB is, but I want the mod top over the MIC(actually body color would be ideal) but then when I look at the mod top with Carbonized grey or rapid red it makes me want to switch colors! Ahhhhhh!

Ya'll are right about the MIC top being darker now. When I toggle b/w just the MIC top and the dual top option w/ MIC, there is a definite color change.

Did you add the Just For Men DIO?

Obviously a MY22 option but it feels like the white mod top is the win with AMB.

Sticking with the MIC then maybe down the road switch it up. Not worth the extra wait! IMO
