Hello!

I have a 2dr WT w/Lux and I've noticed the little function that displays the speed limit near all of the other gauges works about 10% of the time. Anyone else experience the same?

TIA for letting me know that I'm a beta for caring about the speed limit. That kind of thing is what I come here for lol.

Mine always works. Every time I pass a standard speed limit sign it changes to reflect that limit.

I live in a rural area and mine doesn't work well at all where I live. It often says 25 in a 35 or vice versa. I'd really like to disable it, and have tried with Forscan with no luck. Someone on here said they did it once, but couldn't remember how. If I want the speed limit, I can pull it up on google maps ;)

Interesting. I put a grill guard on it, but IIRC it didn't get any worse after I put it on. I may have to take it in, thanks!

Yep, I always refer to the one on Waze. I'm OCD, so when I'm driving along and suddenly I see a little speed limit sign, it reminds me that I *haven't* been seeing one for a few days, and it bugs me that it's not working. Thanks!

Only time I notice mine is not present is when I use Apple Maps. When I use the built in nav it work and when I use Google Maps it works. Not sure why it doesn't with Apple Maps.

Very interesting... my wife's Volvo uses the camera on the front to read the sign, I'm pretty sure. I assumed the Bronco did that, but it sounds like it's getting the info from data data, not camera data. I'll play around with it.. It could be because I use Waze 99% of the time.

the bronco is definitely getting from some database instead of a camera.
the main drag going past my house lowered the speed limit from 45 to 35 mph over a five mile stretch w/ BIG signs alerting the change and a standard speed limit sign shortly after.

the bronco is still showing 45 as the limit as i drive by those signs.

Good info.

I think the simple answer is that I am using Waze, and Waze ain't currently playing nice with the Bronco OS.

i primary use Waze, and notice this mismatch even when i forget to plug the phone in.
(not using the wireless to prevent the mag charger from cooking my phone)

Mid package (no front camera), using google maps via iPhone car play and never have any issues with it.

Mine seems to disappear when using google maps. Otherwise, works fine for most roads.

I don't use anything but the included Navigation with LUX package. It operates 95% of the time with the 5% off being on-ramps. Mine will change just as I get to most signs coming into small town speed traps. The bad thing about it is it's wrong and says 55mph in a 40mph zone in a 2 mile radius around my house. I often wonder if a cop would let it slide when I show him "my dash says 55mph here", but I haven't played that game yet.

"Not using wireless"... you talking about wireless Android Auto/Apple CP or wireless charging?

This a High/Lux thing? I've never seen a speed limit display on my Base Bronco.

I never use any navigation either though. I generally know where I am going.
