My son works at an independent diesel shop but they only do factory warranty stuff. He is Ford factory certified and tells me all modern vehicles have factory programmed limiters (not true mechanical "governors" that you might find in golf carts and shit)....but programmed to achieve the same. He says most are always set these days at 100 mph. Not sure why anyone needs to go higher.

What? How at 2,000 rpm? I was just topped out at 106mph 2 days ago on the highway. For anyone who wants to complain about how fast I was going, apparently you have never driven on the highway in Florida… lol your mpg is what I’m getting
I had let go of the gas

I've been in Europe for over 4 yrs now. Driving a 4 door BMW with a 4cyl turbo diesel that gets 55-60mpg AND will go 250kmh (155mph). It's out of my system. I'm more excited to move back to Texas and drive my brand new Bronco on roads with speed limits. I'll rarely exceed 70mph.
