I purchased and installed the Ford tailgate table, (well actually I just used some Ford pass points). Anyway, it is built very well and I am pleasantly surprised that it does not rattle or make any strange noises. I will say that their installation instructions absolutely suck, and it does require drilling the inner portion of the tailgate to install it. (you need to be VERY careful to use a depth limiter on the drill!!). To be honest, I probably would not buy this one again though. Not so much because of the quality or the installation instructions but soley because the fasteners they provide are as cheap as you can get. In fact, I went to Ace Hardware and replaced them after attempting to install the first fastener which is an aluminum self-cinching Pem Nut. Go buy some steel ones and don't waste your time with the aluminum ones provided.I'm about to pull the trigger on one and was wondering, what everyone thinks about them.
Brands, durability, functionality, noises....Pros/Cons, etc
Would love to hear some feedback!
Thanks!! Sean
