Funny reading through this thread. Especially the “4 door bronco isn’t a real bronco”. I bet the majority of the people saying that who also have a pickup have either club or crew cab…which never occurred in any pickup initially offered by Ford, Chevy or Dodge. so does that mean your F150 isn’t a real pickup because it has either a back seat or 4 doors. I sure don’t want Boeing to go back to Model 80 styling on their next gen jet and it will still be a plane. 4 doors are every bit a bronco as a 2 dr. whichever body style you choose is just that, a body style, and both are awesome in whatever configuration one chooses. No need to throw shade around.

Amazingly enough, you will find that sentiment here. I’ve seen plenty of “If your truck isn’t at least 3/4 ton with an 8-foot bed and a V8 or diesel under the hood, it’s not a real truck! Hell, you don’t even deserve to own a truck!” posts…

Life is too short and precious for me to worry about anything that doesn’t matter most to me and my family.

If you feel the need for a 4 Door and have the necessary means to buy said 4 Door then you do just that and Bless your little Heart.

the bronco 4 door is a too many doors bronco. (i like them if lifted 6-10inch with 40's to fit proportions )

The 2Dr is the Supermodel of the Bronc’s it looks sooo much better than the 4DR and that’s why Ford will not get rid of it. It sells the 4DR for them.

I bought specifically because I wanted the 2 door and in manual transmission. I might have settled on the automatic but wouldn't have been as satisfied.

I had zero interest, and still have zero interest in the 4 door. If I was looking at 4 door suv's I'd be heading over to toyota!

As many Broncoians around here know, I talk to a Ford executive on Xbox a lot for insider gossip. We were playing some Hot Wheels’ My First Off-road Edition chitchatting about some new pod lights he installed when I remembered to ask him about this post. He says with 100% confidence that the 2-door will definitely be made for the 6.5G refresh. He said the 7g depends on sales and also whether Ford’s new solar powered windmill MIC 4.0e roof will work on the 2-door considering it is shorter in length than a 4-door roof. He confirms all Ford trucks are moving to this design philosophy for future power for e-fusion motors. Anyway, check out that game. It’s given me more confidence in the back country. Cheers!

I have no idea what’s going to happen but I saw this article alluding to the elimination of the 2 door wrangler. That would mean Ford could capture that market easily or they’ll follow suit and kill the 2 door Bronco.
