You mean the Excursion? Yeah, thats what we are saying, bring the Excursion back and call it a Bronco Max or something.
Excursion/expedition, sorry someone earlier said expedition so I ran with it.
I just don’t see a big consumer demand for it. IMO that’s why the excursion failed because it was literally too much vehicle when compared to the suburban and Tahoe.

As long as they don’t dilute the bronco name I’d be fine

While I think a full-sized Bronco would be pretty awesome to a point, I think the 6G Bronco is exactly what it should be. What we have right now with the current generation is a true unadulterated Bronco that captures the spirit of what the original was. Something to think about as well is a full-sized Bronco SUV would be extremely limited in its offroad potential simply because of its size. It wouldn't fit through or in many of the places that the 6G will be able to go. I'll say it, I like the look of the full-sized Bronco rendering, but I think it loses a bit of its utility in the process. It would eventually become just another SUV on the market much like the Explorer, Tahoe, or Suburban and I think the Bronco deserves better than that.

Give the big bronco 35s, solid axles, front and rear lockers, disco sway bar and an integrated winch and you will be surprised where it could go. (Youtube Power Wagon off-road videos for an idea of what's possible). Sure it won't fit on every jeep trail out there and will be susceptible to some pin striping, and some break over angle situations with it's long wheelbase but for that tradeoff you would gain driving comfort, towing capacity and people/gear space.

95% of the people who buy a 6G bronco won't be maxing out or even getting close to it's offroad capabilities anyway (which is why the IFS was such a smart decision). You are going to see way more at the mall with their top off than you ever will on the trail. That's just the nature of society today. So why not have an option for those with big families, friends, dogs, boats, side by sides, travel trailers, etc. I think there is more than enough space in the bronco brand for a big off-roader, especially if there is room for the lowly bronco sport.

Brand differentiation in the big SUV segment is what will be critical, which is why branding it as an Bronco or an Excursion or hell even a Bronco Excursion is so important. People need to understand it has some real off-road chops and isn't just another explorer/expedition/suburban. I think making this an overland specialist would be brilliant. Build in an optional pressurized freshwater tank/water heater, generator, dual battery setup, factory fridge option, huge gas tank, maybe even some solar/hybrid options and really turn the market on its head of what's possible.

You could live out of that thing....and may need to at it's price point! Still, it would be incredible!

This was merely meant as an inquiry, its a hard sell in one sense. But on the other hand. SUV's are king of the mountain right now.

I've never owned a 4 door vehicle and don't ever plan on buying one. They cost more, have more parts to potentially break and don't provide any functionality I need. I don't ever carry more than one passenger so I don't need 4 doors. I've owned a K-5 Blazer and a K-5 Jimmy and the back seats in both were removed so I could carry more hunting gear, tools, lumber or whatever.
See in that case sounds like a regular cab pickup with a cap makes more sense to me than a full size SUV with 2 doors.
