I just called and I am still under a chip hold with a new delivery date in 1 month. Original delviery date was late next week. This is insanely frustrating.

That's about what I figgered. If anything, I've learned to not get my hopes up.

I have a rate lock on my loan till Feb 1st and I am now considering cancelling that loan application and reapplying to get the loan locked until March knowing how poorly Ford is handling these "built" Bronco.

I spoke with my sales guy and he mentioned its been schedule for production gate release whatever that means.

Yep, low expectations. My 11/22 build(1/29/21 order) is sitting on chip hold. Originally estimated 12/6-12/13 delivery and I’d be shocked if it’s delivered before the middle of January, more likely February.

I ‘m apathetic about getting my Bronco and I bought a new boat yesterday that I take delivery of 12/15. I’m way more excited about my new Boston Whaler and I’ll get more use out of it winter(FL) and summer(MN) than my Bronco.

Good news on our 11/7/22 build week Bronco.

I’m no longer on chip hold, as our dealership called and told me that they had a 2023 F150 Raptor unloading from the truck and it was mine if I wanted it. We just struck a deal on a build just like I would have ordered, and it’s without the wait. PLUS, they sold it to us for MSRP.


So! I’m off this Bronco chip hold train! The Bronco we had ordered, and were awaiting shipping?, That’s the dealership’s problem now.

Avalanche. It was a color offered on the 2017 Raptor and Ford brought it back for 2023.
One of the few bright things I can say about Ford.
