Certainly not the dirtiest but this was from a coast trip couple weeks back. Sand is like the jelly of the month club in that it's the gift that keeps on giving lol. I was washed it and gone through some rain and I still have sand showing up

Yep, you could use some front mudflaps, but even with decent mudflaps I will be finding sand in mine for the rest of its life probably. My wheel offset was getting my back seat passengers sandy with the doors off. Wifey loves the beach or I would never subject my vehicles to the salt. Happy wife happy ish life! Lol

Mariachi GoPro taco festivities, apparently.
And yeah, my daughter complains of all the "stuff in the way of her vision" when she drives it.
I don't get it.
There's at least a few inches of view there not encroached by either phone mounts, tacos, or a Baofeng 2-way at all times.
One day I'll flip down the sun visor and really throw her for a loop.

How do you like the GoPro set up? I was thinking of going this route, but then I read some stuff about them over heating on the dash and now I'm in a holding pattern wondering what to do.

I haven't noticed any issues.
I have some off-brand, not the official GoPro, and mainly find the videos are not as great or the battery not as great as expected.
At some point I just stopped trying to do the video stuff, found it was more hassle than it was worth.
When I do get the itch or idea to resume, not sure if I am going to invest in an actual GoPro or a quality dash cam.
For now the empty case is there as a reminder to not forget to at least think about it when I'm off-pavement.

EDIT: either way I go, I plan on getting it done and trial-ran before my next huge trip to coastal CA and points back east through Yosemite, NV and UT. I DO want to capture some of that.
