When you had that all stripped, did the floor pans seem like something that would be easy to replace in the future if it gets rusty?

i used killmat and then the Siless over that, they serve two different purposes and work best when used together. Dynamat is a great name brand product and killmat is the more "generic" version that's been around for a long time with very similar specs to the name brand. without doing the doors i have used right at 50 sqr feet of each product, the doors should take another 12-15 sqr feet at most.I will be receiving a two door (someday) .. Please, how many square yards did it take to complete the interior, if thats how they sale the mats ? You chose Siless over Dynamat, any reason? I consider this project, a first must do....Thank you, in advance for the valuable info.
51 sqr ft of silex is 3.8 lbs, 50 sqr ft of 80 mil killmat is 23 lbs, so about 30lbs total when i am done.Did you weigh the amount of material you added to the truck?
i guess it depends on your level of skill, but yes it looks fairly straightforward. Not being a unibody helpsWhen you had that all stripped, did the floor pans seem like something that would be easy to replace in the future if it gets rusty?
When your 12 hours behind the wheel, noise increases your level of tiredness. You can drive longer in a quieter, more comfortable car.Just always been curious.
Do yall just take trips in total silence to be bothered with doing this?
Windows up, radio off just looking to be upset at noise is the only reason I could think of doing this.
Very jealous of your patience levels and free time. Kudos to you
Noise greatly increases the fatigue factor on trips. Reducing the ambient noise levels will increase your daily travel limits.Just always been curious.

I time out at 10hrs so this is a fun fact for me. ThanksNoise greatly increases the fatigue factor on trips. Reducing the ambient noise levels will increase your daily travel limits.
Someone forgot to tell Uncle Sam about that. Every (wheeled) vehicle I've been in has a "Hearing Protection Required" sticker on that dash instead. When your 12 hours behind the wheel, noise increases your level of tiredness. You can drive longer in a quieter, more comfortable car.
nope, but i guess we have gotten used to not having to talk over the excessive wind/road noise in our other cars( 85 Bronco, 2014/2022 Raptor. 68 Mustang) on long road trips it gets annoying to us. AS for the free time.... i make time for what's important to me.Just always been curious.

thanks! i honestly have no idea, but labor wise i prob have ?? 15 hours into it, counting all my breaks and installing 4 out of the 6 speakers. It's not complicated, just takes some time.I can't imagine how much someone would charge for doing this. Amazing job!
