I love it when I see a Gen 1 in anything. There's one in an episode of Picard this season, I might have screamed a little lol

With what, 5 different release dates, I'm hoping it actually does come out this time. Can't wait to see it. And yeah, looked like a 1gen, as well as the GPZ900R.

Well, the trailer explains the "cameo" of Val Kilmer. He was seriously photoshopped for that Admiral photo on the wall :)

And that Bronco is bad-a$$. I would have loved that color on my Bronco! (but I am loving the EG)

Just saw the new trailer for the Top Gun movie. Looked like Maverick is driving a Gen 1 Bronco.
Yep, kind of love/hated seeing that in the trailer. Always nice to see a classic 4x4 represented, but might cause prices to jump the shark even further, putting the vehicle on more people's radar.

I knew this long before I saw the trailer... when I found this at a Walmart

Cool little collection. I got a Bronco R hot wheels car the other day at the local auto parts store. Added to my Bronco shrine lol

Would be a shame if the vehicle you own becomes more valuable.

I don't own one. And as an off-road hobbyist, my interest is in people getting these vehicles at decent prices to go out and have fun working on them and off-roading. So no, I'm not interested in the monetary value going up.

First time I saw the trailer I recognized that mirror and front fender! I never saw it again in the trailer. If you are looking for a good price on a 66-77, that train has left the station.

Pretty sure the 6G Bronco is mostly to blame for that... 😇

Actually I think once the new Broncos are appearing in decent numbers, it will have a moderating impact on EB prices. Because an EB will no longer be the only Bronco option.

And frankly some people who probably have no business buying an EB anyway, will see people driving around in tricked out new Broncos, having top down fun ... and start thinking why am I driving around in this uncomfortable gas guzzling old rig.

The fact that Jeep fans can buy a new Wrangler has been a moderating influence on older Jeep prices, because those guys don't participate as much in throwing big money at older Jeeps.

There will always be a certain crowd wanting an EB, but I think the new Bronco will syphon off some of the other type of buyers. Time will tell ...

Would be a shame if an off-road vehicle … became more popular … and attracted more money, aftermarket development, and competitors that could push the industry further forward?
