The part was never fully developed. Ram came out with an updated transfer case that was a drop in replacement.

Maybe the right size shim in the mechanism would increase the tension. A feeler gauge and calipers would be where I start. Looks like there is enough play that you could get a few more thousandths take up which might be all you need.
Just swap it all out with a 10r80 and rappy tcase. Call it a day.

Yeah for real. Might as well try to add a 3.5 or 5.0 to the mix while we’re at it
I don't know... the 10R80 is already mated to the 2.7 I think... I know it fits to the V8 but that has fitment issues... (they too can be overcome but.... trying to keep this as simple as plssible)
Is the raptor with its 3.0 running a 10R80??? The Raptor T case locks up right???

According to this it does indeed have a lockup. Still looking for more info.

Not sure I trust Ford literature much... but maybe... and if the BRaptor is running the 10R60 and it"s Tcase locks up.... we are half way there.

So... does the Braptor transfer case have a different part number than the advanced trac in the Bronco and would the modules electronics be similar to switching out a steering rack?... This is only IF the Braptor is running the 10R60.... If it is running a 10R80 then mating might be a problem.

Looks like they also run the 60 if what I’m finding is correct. (Might not be) Started searching for Braptor transfer cases and this site shows them to be compatible with the rest of the trims. Whether that means it has a mechanical lockup or not I don’t know.

As close as I can get on the fly.... BRaptor is running the 10R60 so should mate up but the T cases appear to be different part numbers (at least on Ford parts.com)

Well shoot, if the Raptor Tcase is a mechanical lockup. Count me in for testing compatibility for the 2.3!

Another thought would be, is the Ranger raptor transfer case different than the bronco raptor?
