It's been a long road. LOL
True Broncoholic here though, since the mid-90's when I first experienced the early Broncos in Arizona.

To put it in perspective,
When the 6G was first INITIALLY announced (not revealed), I purposely bought a vehicle knowing it would get mostly paid for by the time the Bronco arrived.
Check my join date. 😉
LOL, I was in it for the long haul!!
2016?!? I can't even imagine. Some of those prototype/fan built designs were so sweet. What did you experience when they finally released the 6G design?

How about this one. I remember people insisting these were fake. LOL

Only the painted white top was fake.

Sometimes I'm thankful that I wasn't convinced to order the new bronco until mid 2021. I can't imagine how some of you have dealt with the ups and downs (EMOTIONAL DAMAGE) of the teasers, order process, backlogs, etc.... Many brave souls in this forum!

I LOVED ... and still do, the body lines.

I swear, it feels like you could take the front fenders off and bolt them to my 69.
I was so relieved to see that.
As opposed to the poor Chevy Blazer... RIP

The grill and leading edge of the hood still look a bit ... soft ... to me.

Many of us back then, I think there were only 150 members for quite awhile, the member count EXPLODED after the reveal , many of us had high hopes for an a la carte ordering experience.
We really hoped to be able to cherry pick a lot of build options without the whole package thing.
Heated seats, lockers, etc etc

Lemme dig up some of the original renders ....

This one was an April Fools Day joke for all the Bronco junkies ... I think before the new Bronco was even leaked.

Keep in mind, the 6G Bronco was leaked accidently by the UAW Cheif at a news conference when they announced that the Ranger was coming back to the US at MAP.
Something to the effect of "We'll be proud to build the Ranger and Bronco here at MAP..."

Well, he wasn't supposed to say anything about the Bronco, it had just started development.

That news was not supposed to be revealed for a few years at least.

Hmm looks like the standard headlights may have had halos at some point, that or they are still saving those puppies for a future trim/model. Note the distinctive bar in the middle of the circular part of the lamp is missing in these. Heritage edition maybe? Or these could have been OG signatures until some dingus decided to make them look like dang "ON" buttons...:confused:

Yea these were what pulled me in originally. I loved those original renders. Thanks for the response. It sure seems like quite the trip and most don’t even have their vehicle yet!!

While I was frequenting the classicbroncos.com website, this S10 Blazer rendering came up as a Bronco design and I totally misunderstood what the 6G website was all about. Glad I figured it out, but even more glad that Ford didn't go along with this one. :)
