I prefer the HD modular, but I think this is pretty nice for stock. I with it had mount points for a bull-bar.

I was wondering if you guys were still around, hadn't seen any posts in a while. I don't particularly care for the capable.

I like it, but it reminds me of this. I also think it should be available across all trims like the modular.

Could it have been a more obvious copy?

What is everyone's thoughts on the new 22 capable front bumper?

Do you prefer this over the HD Modular?

What is powder coated steel and what is plastic on it? I can't tell from the pics.

I originally went with modular bumper and was disappointed with it was replaced by capable in 2022. I initially was going to go for the modular option when I rolled my order into 2022, but opted to leave the capable because it was powder coated steel. Maybe I should have looked at it more.

Will I will have front bash plates in my squach now with the capable? I can't tell but doesn't look like there are any in that photo.

Looking at the photo, it looks like it is plastic not steel.

I can’t believe that this bumper is just as crooked if not more than the steel bumper
Isn't the capable bumper steel, too?

Reminds me of the 1970's era NHTSA laws that required Lambo, Porsche, and Mercedes to add bumpers as they were imported into the USA...

only slightly detracted from their looks..... <sigh>

I don’t like it as much. It looks like they just took it off the Jeep and slapped it onto the Bronco.

The capable bumper looks completely replaceable (which is what I intend to do) :)
Both bumpers will be replace with real bumpers.

I ordered my 2021 Bronco, with the Capable Bumper, before it was deleted, on day two of the original Build and price. Then, I wanted to reorder it on my 2022 Wildtrak, but it still wasn't available. Finally, I just changed my Model, with @EricAtKearnyMesaFord , to a Badlands, to be able to get more of what I wanted in a Bronco. Eric wasn't bothered by my third change, at all (well he probably was, but he's such a Good guy, that he not only makes changes (willingly), but he can take an extra few minutes talking about our decisions, unless he has other callers waiting).

The main differences and decision makers for me, were:

Wildtrak: No Capable Bumper, plastic Rear Bumper, Crappy Interiors, both cloth and Leather.

Badlands: Capable Front Bumper, Steel rear Bumper, Black Leather, and nothing to make me think that I wasted 1.5 years and $60K, to get a Bronco that I don't like now... or will I like in the future.

My final order is: Badlands, 4-door, White, Sasquatch, 2.7/Auto, Lux, and a few miscellaneous options!!!

Its not the worse thing I have ever seen, but I don't care for the large gap between the bumper and lower grille area....

Considering my current bumper is a 2005 Jeep liberty bumper attached to a 2005 jeep liberty, I'm ok with the capable bumper. Maybe after some time of owning the Bronco I might change it.
