250 miles till my first, quarter plus size rock upper passenger side. Finally got it replaced at 9000 miles, added a hood deflector at the same time. Made it just a bit over a thousand miles and got hit day before Thanksgiving right in my line of sight. Was pretty small so got it fixed same afternoon. It was funny in a way as I spotted the semi coming and it looked like a rock thrower, plus a stiff cross wind coming from his side. Told myself this might be bad and sure enough it splattered me with rocks. I'm doomed as I live in rural farm country with half the traffic being big rigs on dirty state highways.

Maverick crowd has same issues and it’s not that steep of an angle. It’s the glass in my opinion. Sure angle doesn’t help.

I got my first chip merging on the parkway and the car in front of me about 4 car lengths in front of me flung a rock up that managed to miss the hood deflector and place a chip on the drivers side windshield right in the middle at 4500 miles. Insurance filled the chip for free, but is still pretty unsightly.

I have a deflector, exoshield, and insurance! A year and a half, 18k miles... Lots of pockmarks but no cracks.
Pockmarks on the Exoshield, or the actual windshield?

I’ve gotten three stars over 17,000 miles, but no cracks (hope I didn’t just jinx myself). No deflector. When it cracks, I’ll do the windshield adhesion recall and get a new windshield.
Wait, what windshield adhesion recall?

Less than 2 months...which is less than my Wrangler.

I was on a mission to see how many cracks I could get on it before changing. Now that the Bronco has one..same game rules apply.

The angle of the windshield on both pretty much sucks and guarantees that any rock hitting it will be an instant crack.
i got a chip 1st day lol pre running a deer trail bound to happen square flat windscreen

Do we know if they replace the windshield on the recall, or just the adhesive?
The windshield is not replaced unless the owner requests it. Otherwise they just put the old one back on after they correct the prep and adhesive.

2 years and 30K miles with my original windshield, and it looks like I was involved in a drive by shooting.
Getting a new one in Jan.
