I literally pulled off to the side of the road on my way home from the dealership and flipped mine around. So, mine have been backward for 18 months now. Really wonder what it takes to get them bent to a proper angle so they can be installed front facing.
I put mine in a bench vise (clamping the posts) and just pushed and pulled a few times until they bent to the angle I wanted. Been comfortable ever since.

The clear mirrors don't have anti-glare. We decided to offer all our mirrors coated with anti-glare coating such that they are only Blue or Grey, which is light grey.
My side windows are tinted the same as the rear and I am concerned about the additional light loss from your mirror. Is the loss of brightness with your product due entirely to the curvature or would eliminating the anti-glare coating also work?

the loss of brightness is due to the coating on the mirrors.

I got these little square microfiber clothes that are, on one side, the length of the visor. So I put one on the visor, between it and the roof, and leave it there. Then, when the sun is beating straight through the windshield, I fold it down. If it's from the left, I pull it down and hang it down from the roll bar. Really helps, especially when the sun is right where the street lights are.
Pictures please

, plus no more auto start stop nonsense.
ASS deactivation dongle/plug in.
Why do people hate this so much ?

What the heck!! My dealer had no idea what I was talking about! Does anyone have a TSB# I can share with the dealer?
No TSB,just an update that may or may not be available for your vehicle.

Why do people hate this so much ?

For me, when I first got my bronco it had been sitting around for awhile and I assume there was a bit of a battery drain. Also, as most of you probably experience, there are a good number of electrical gremlins in these (my left headlight stays on longer than the right one on shutdown, periodically get the messed up parking break signal, periodically have the infotainment system shut down and restart while driving).

Anyway, I was at a busy traffic light. First in line. ASS kicked in. Light turns green. I press accelerator, ASS TRIES to kick in and restart, but instead the whole electrical system shuts down and I'm just stuck there first in line at a busy traffic light, not even a light anywhere in the bronco. People behind me were honking and it was just generally a VERY stressful situation. Luckily, things decided to start back up about 2 minutes later or so and I was able to keep driving.

Anyway, after that, I was anti-ASS. I know it's n of 1 and just this vehicle, but I just don't like it.

To a lesser extent, i don't like it because it subconsciously makes me feel like I'm stalling out a manual on start up (even though it's an automatic. As I said, subconsciously).

I've not had a problem in a year and a half since. So yah, pretty much the epitome of the thread title for me since that stall out at the traffic light the first week had me doubting getting the Bronco.

My first experience with start/stop was in a loaner from a dealer and it was so jarring in that car I immediately turned it off. Ever since I turn it off out of habit when I get in a car.

Forscan makes it easy, just look for the instructions in the forum.
Nice! I had made some other changes using Forscan, but will have to try that.

Note that I click the lock button twice and the Bronco honks. That is a mistake and unnecessary. A single click is enough for the windows to go up and it will be silent.

Because it's the most awful thing in the world. It's 116 out, you have the A/C going. You come to a stop sign, the car shudders, shuts down, the A/C stops blowing then it shudders to a start again.

or you come to a stop, the engine shuts off, and the light immediately turns green.
It's been mentioned that the engine has to be stopped for at least 7 seconds for there to be any fuel savings due to the extra fuel needed on startup.
Anyone stopping at stop signs for 7 seconds when there are no other cars? People are likely rolling through stop signs because of this feature.

Well, I'm not, because I have a stick shift. So it doesn't actually trigger.

But it's annoying as all get out when I use the drive up ATM, because I have to shove the clutch back in, hit the button, and then let the clutch back out.

Wife's F-150, I remember to hit the button the first time it shudders to a stop.

On hot days mine gives an alert that ASS has been disabled due to outside temperature. The A/C doesn't shut off. I'm in Phoenix.

Also if I'm in a stop/start situation, I just turn off ASS. I sometimes turn it off when in a parking lot. I leave it on for "normal" traffic.

I had originally planned to use Forscan to turn off ASS. I've changed my mind.
