What's the "swamp ass" situation with MGV / leather seats in these things?

I'm currently assembling my "wish list" for a possible 2023 Bronco order. I'm a big, big fan of cloth seats because they're cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. I'm interested in getting a Badlands, but no cloth seating is available for that model. Long story short... what's the "swamp ass" situation with the marine grade vinyl or leather seats in these things? Too warm in the summer? Thanks for your time and help.

Just make sure it's not hot outside when you do this:

A solid suggestion, but I'm personally not interested in doing seat covers.
Seat blanket is not bad option, It fits around head rest and when u get in or have top on you just sling it around back

I live in SW Florida and with the top down and doors off in the summer, the sun will make the seats hot but it’s Florida and anything will get hot in the summer. People make a big deal about the MGV but I don’t mind it at all

I have the MGV. I also am genetically prone to profusely perspire. I don’t mean “ a little” sweat. I mean waaaaay over the top sweat. I have a 2011 Lariat F150 with the cooling seats. I think I have turned the seats to cool maybe three times in that span. One of those was to make sure they worked. I had the roof off all summer, but a shade top was installed. I never noticed “ swamp ass” as you stated, but then again, maybe I am just used to a sweating butt and never noticed.

If you're buying a Badlands, I'm assuming you'll be off-roading it. And if so, cloth seats are a magnet for dust/dirt and then add sweat/moisture, your cloth seats will be nasty in no time...and nearly impossible to keep clean.

They get a tad warm in beating-down late July sun. Nothing a beach towel or something won't fix.
OR just grin and bear it for 30 seconds and you are golden.
My daughter and wife will disagree, but they did not grow up in the era of the 70's bastions of elegance vehicles with hard vinyl seats and wing windows were your AC.
Uphill, both ways, in the blazing sun.

All jokes aside, I love mine. Comfy, supportive, able to hose off with a water hose after a day spent riding trails. All the things an ex-wife or tired, old cloth seats are not.

Plus living in Wa, should you miss an opportunity with weather and an open top, no musty, soggy seats. Wipe 'em off and truck on down the road.

I have leather seats, live in central Florida and no complaints. OP, no one can really answer your question but you. Seats are just like color, i.e. what one likes the next doesn't. The decision is much broader than MGV vs leather. Leather seats are power adjustable which is a good thing if there's a wide difference in height between you and Mrs Thumbs. And leather seats bring along carpet as well. IMHO, it's these two things, budget, and how you're going to use the Bronco that influence the decision, not what the seats are covered with.
