Have anyone of you seen/sat on them? i'm thinking MGV will be too hot in the Louisiana summer!
There have been several folks that have seen both the MGV and Leather trimmed seats at various Bronco events. Those that have elected to go with the MGV swear it's the best thing since sliced bread...but who's going to initially be ambivalent or bad mouth the choice they made on a $50k + purchase?

What isn't too hot in Louisiana in the summer! I'm sure seat covers will be a must in warmer climates for both MGV and Leather.

So looking at the pics of the interior I am assuming the main seat and back portion are MGV and the bolsters are in leather?

I don't think there's much of a difference between the vinyl and real leather, neither breathes and might get hot/sweaty. I think the leather seats also are mostly vinyl with 'leather trim', what ever that may mean. Seating area only? Sides only? Not sure.
I wish they'd offer the nice white/grey interior instead of boring black though, but it's what we got.
If I find them too hot I might change the covers eventually.
I'll also most likely have the soft top on in summer, and I'll close that if I have to park in the sun for longer somewhere.

I've felt the MGV and it is nice, up to you if you want to deal with the problems of a leather/vinyl in a hot humid environment

Actually I believe that the Leather is Vinyl/Leather and no MGV... But that comes from other threads on that topic so...

To get a better answer, google does black marine grade vinyl get hot in the summer. There are multiple threads from boat owners that have black/dark vinyl seats.

summary
They have already experienced this and are not speculating.

The MGV of today is vastly improved compared to even 7-8 years ago.

While they get warm, nothing like the old days. Any air movement cools them down nicely.

I suspect if you were going to leave your Bronco in a parking lot in mid July with the roof off, you might want to lay a towel down on the seats. Remove it when you return and once you start driving it will be fine.

I will also say in my personal case, I do not remove the roof on my Jeep when it is north of 85 degrees. I would expect I would do the same in the Bronco which means this is a non issue mostly.

Not sure how many people go roofless when it gets hotter than that anyway.
