What's the "swamp ass" situation with MGV / leather seats in these things?

Lol I have little doubt they would be able to.
Those things are downright toasty.

I've been running the seat heater full bore since I hurt my back but when I get out my pants are soaked. I know I got a sweaty butt but with the MGV seats, heat, winter clothes I wondered if it looked like I peed my pants.

Anyone know how to turn off just the butt heater?

Even the leather seats get pretty sweaty on real long drives. Downside to having NO perforations in either of the "premium" seats.

Better than having perforated seats full of dirt from having the top off though I think.

No problems with MGV seats for me. I'm not the "sweaty ass" type.

Personally, I love the MGV in my Badlands. I have had zero issue with seat temperatures or sweaty backsides. They are very comfortable, easy to clean, and pretty darn rugid without feeling cheap. Also, the seat heaters work... really, really well.

I thought the MGV was uncomfortably hot on a cool mid 90's day when I test drove one.

I've hated every car I ever had with leather. So bloody hot, and that sizling sound as the back of your legs burn if you get in wearing shorts.

Exactly the same amount of swamp-ass as any leather seat for me. The wife's car has white leather which gets less hot if parked with the sun on it.

You need to be a lot more thoughtful about parking with the dark MGV seats shaded here in Hell (Phoenix) in the summer, but that's it.

Had cloth seats in a car in college. The girl I was dating got in one hot day and sat on a penny. I wonder if she still has that brand on the back of her leg....

I have a Black Diamond, on muggy and warm days, even up here in Maine my back would get very sweaty with the roof off. The seats don't breathe. They are very comfortable to sit in though. I can't imagine planning on having the roof off a lot and having cloth seats. All the pollen, dust etc that would get in them. They'd be impossible to keep clean. I have two small kids and a dog and live on a dirt road though, so my back getting sweaty a couple drives a week is WAAAAAYYYYY worth the payoff of not having any carpet or cloth in my car. Open the drains, wash it out, continue with life.

I have the MGV in my Badlands. They may be slightly less "breathable", but it's no different than any recent "leather" seat I have had. As an added bonus, they happen to be the most ergonomically comfortable seats I have ever had, bar none.
