I’m so happy I live in the desert where it’s 120 out.. I could drench the interior after breakfast and it would be bone dry inside by lunch.

Boo carpet.

It's really not silly to expect a roof-off can't-take-it-with-you vehicle to handle some rain. My motorcycle does it all the time with sealed switches and water-tight connectors in areas that get wet (BTW, auto makers already do this for connectors in the engine bay and other exposed areas). In addition to wash-out flooring, Ford media highlights sealed switches and MGV upholstery, all of which infer an interior that can get wet. Nobody really expects to spray water everywhere inside the cockpit, but it's not unreasonable to expect a vehicle like this to be alright when (not if) folks get caught in the rain and their hard top is back home.
I admire your confidence (like many in the Jeep community who justify their perceptions in a similar way). I wish you all the best with your Bronco.
