Yep! A bad decision to morph the Bronco into a F150 in 78.x2 The Bronco name should've died in 1977, when they scrapped the whole idea of the little utility vehicle and made it Suburban like.

Farm truck guys sans the farm actual comedy. It’s hilarious how the compact SUV owners feel the need to justify owning the little one. I could have made that turn around in my superduty.
I drive a Gmc 2500 crew long box and the long wheel base is brutal on narrow steep switchback pos communications site roads. A 6ft bed is a huge difference.4 door is only 26 inches longer it would have done the same just fine.
Here you go"BrOnCo'S WeRe'nT OrIgInAlLy FoUr DoOrs"
Stop it... y'all are wild. The original Broncos didn't have IFS and turbo baby motors either. The amount of schoolyard flexing is comical. Go enjoy your bronco and if you want to wheel, go hit the "Hammers" trails in Lucerne Valley Ca... no "park fees" no Clubs... just trails that will humble and embarrass two doors and four doors alike (except Loren Healey and his Bronco)
Here you go
Here are some straws for you to grasp at, because that was pretty thin. Any deviation from the original Bronco no longer makes it a Bronco? By that measure, there have been no Broncos since 1967.
It seems that Bronco XL owners are more sensitive to teasing that Bronco owners.
No, I got the latter part, I was saying that there's no absurdity to lay claim that only the two-door represents the original Bronco and that the absurdity is making claims like IFT or turbo would somehow make a current Bronco not qualify. I was also pointing out that this is just friendly teasing that hits a sensitive topic with the Bronco XL owners. We Bronco people acknowledge that today's market dictates an XL is required because that's where the majority of sales are. We're glad your sacrifice makes the real Bronco possible. And for those for whom Bronco XL was not a compromise, even better.
well you missed the point of that statement.
I was commenting on the absurdity of the 2 door crowds go to reason for the 2 door 6G
I didn’t advocate for either trim I said go enjoy your own bronco.
I've had a bunch of different adults in and out of my back seats.
I disagree. I was in Moab with two four door units. We did a variety of trails, I used my winch on one 4 door unit that turtled out twice and tugged the other one over a large boulder with a strap. Then both decided that they could not follow me up Wipeout hill without more winching action. All of us on stock sasquatch suspension.I assure you that there is little chance a 2 door could follow my 4 door around all day off-roading. Just doesn't have the wheelbase to climb up ledges as steep as the 4 door can. I've been in cases where I felt I was going to tip backwards, a 2 door certainly would have.
Lol,...I'll start a video file of every time I drag a turtled up moar door unit over a boulder or step that my two door crawled right over. Infact, I believe we should start a thread seeing (after time) how many times a two door saved a four door and vise versa out in the wild.Yesterday on the trail a 2-dr broke down and stopped working because someone said to it "oh, look at that cute pudgy little one with no friends inside". It was obviously embarrassed and could no longer go on. Luckily there were some 4-dr models full of interesting people and gear to help cheer it up and it eventually limped it's way back to camp.
If this is the future you all want, keep buying your 2-dr models and see what happens.
You have been warned.
I know dats rite! This sounds like my kind of fun !!!!!!
