You're in a JL AND your wife is geting a new Bronco? I've gotta say, in this life thing, you sir, are winning. Congrats on the awesome new ride. 👍
haha. life is good, but if I was paying cash for these and not financing then I'd agree on the winning part.

As a female that went from a Tesla Model 3 to a 2023 2 door Wildtrak SAS, I can confirm your wife won’t miss the pep as much as she thinks she will. Especially in sport mode. :) The ride height alone was worth the switch.
congrats! yes, she was pleasantly surprised with how much she liked the ride height. she's learning how to drive my manual JL now. maybe she will end of liking it more than an auto and I can drive the Bronco once is arrives....

Did you get the advanced 4x4 transfer case... If not, change it.

My White 2023 2 door Bronco 2.7 OBX adv 4x4 high package with tow and aux switches is due in any day now.

The 2021 has been a beast.
didn't consider the advanced transfer case, just the gears and rear locker. the Bronco will be RWD if not in a 4x4 mode without the advanced transfer case, correct?

Could be misremembering, but in the OBX BP the rear locker and 4.27 come as part of the advanced 4x4 option…didn’t think you could get rear locker/4.27’s stand alone…

Oops, I stand corrected, you can get the rear locker/4.27’s stand alone on OBX, However; both are included with the Advanced 4x4 option. Worth it, if you can still change your order.

What I remember from my test drive of an Outer Banks Sport is that it was just ok. I would not have bought it. The Badlands Sport was so much better.

Sounds like you are a taller person, smaller vehicles may not be for you.

My Sport had one rattle that was easily mitigated. My Bronco rattles like it has half a dozen lost bolts under the trim panels. Ford quality...
You obviously never had/rode in a Gen 1 as far as rattles are concerned...

I had one for few years back in the late 80's. 302, auto, lifted on 33's, 4.11 LS front and back. Door jambs were rusting out. Wish I had kept it through the years.

I’m sure I can still change. Have only received the one email this far. But curious as to why you would change?

I currently own a 2018 F-150 Raptor and use the 4A mode in inclement weather on the road fairly often, easy to engage/disengage while under way and provides more "peace of mind" when in wet conditions. Would be good in light off-road (fire trails, etc.) conditions as well.

PS Wish now I would've ordered the SAS package but thought that was a serious constraint and didn't want to wait a long time to get the Bronco...now I'm seeing a lot of 3/27/23 orders (with SAS) getting scheduled...

right on. forgot to add the roof cross bars so i'll add this as well. as for SAS, this is the wife's and she's not into the 35s I have now. well, she loves the look for me, but not her. fine with me. save some money and drive better.

I gotta agree here. Drove a family member's Camaro in-between vehicles before I got my jeep and it was wayyyy too easy to break some rules of the road. The Jeep holds me more accountable and i find that road-trips aren't nearly as stressful or filled with road-rage anymore.
We test drove a Black Diamond 2 Dr yesterday with the 2.7 and my wife loved it minus the acceleration lag. She is wanting an Outer Banks non SAS and I’m wondering if the 2.3 would be better for her needs? In town DD. Occasional campsite visits. Is the acceleration any better or worse in a 2 door with the 2.3 vs 2.7? Also the 4.46 gears vs 3.73. Any noticeable difference with the standard 32” tires? Going to order it tomorrow. I’m easily influenced. Please help. She drives a ‘21 q5 4cyl but that is a quick little car. She’ll get used to the bronco I’m sure. Loved being up high. Tried to get her in an on lot base SAS but she doesn’t want a lift or 35s. I’m in a JL lifted on 35s. Gotta say I’m super stoked to get a Bronco. I was going to trade for that base SAS but a kid bought it while we were there.
The experience on this forum is pretty spot on. There are a few exceptions to the rules on delivery, but not many. I can’t remember ever seeing a two door OBX anywhere. Lots of 4 doors lately. My wife has 2.3 OBX, best friends wife has 2.7 OBX. I cannot tell a difference in the motors. Fuel mileage almost identical, but they are both mostly in eco mode with tops down just enjoying the ride!

I hope for me you meant $49,521 haha
This package is $55,500 msrp and they won’t budge on that.
No, I meant $39,521... but out the door today, it actually ended up being $39,976. Ford decided to only give me $2350 in price protection, instead of $3080. I had already put $500 down, so the actual total price was $40,476.

Still, much better than $51,270.

Congratulations! That’s amazing. Enjoy! I hope the Bronco is everything you want it to be.

Thanks... let's hope it is better than my 2021... (so far the top is better). It was definitely less money than my very similar 2021 by about $7k.
