from pics we have seen of the 2 door, you are way way short on it's length, by about 6-8 inches. the driver door comes all the way down without interfering with the wheel well or trim.
Ah, I will see what I can do to fix it. Thanks!

My choices are getting a bit more confusing now. Apparently LR is also coming out with this.

Isn't that just the concept art for the new Defender? That's already been revealed, looks like this:

No, apparently they are coming out with a more "affordable" 3rd model, called the 80, the 2 door you show is the 90, 4-door 110.

My kids are grown and I already have an F250 with plenty of space. This is going to be my commuter and weekend toy and is replacing a Focus so size is not a concern. Definitely getting the 2-door with a manual transmission.

And with my first vote/post @ bronco6g dot com, i am all-in for the 4 door. I LOVE IT!

Usually hang out at mustang6g, but have been lurking here for awhile now in anticipation.

I'm still on the fence.

I want a 2-door because shorter, lighter weight vehicles are more nimble on the trails, and I just like the way they look.

I also want something that will be DD-able, but is a capable trail rig that can be built into a capable overland rig. The 2-door may not have the cargo space needed to make a proper overland rig, in which case I'd have to go for the 4-door since I'm not made of money and can't afford to get both.

Well look at the wrangler, basically only bottom and top trim. Sport Sahara and Rubicon. Nothing in between. 1 Main reason!
COST!
Base model for a CHEAP option. And loaded model for the enthusiast. That’s it.

and yes 400lbft
2.3 is 310lbft
2.7 is 400 lbft
3.0 diesel 400lbft
3.3 hybrid ~340lbft
Because in the Wrangler example, the mid level (Sahara’s) are for pretenders and mall crawlers who would never think or want to drive a manual, and the eco-diesel has too much torque.

I'm in for the 2 door, to me the proportions are perfect. It does leave the cargo area lacking so I will be removing the rear seats and installing an aftermarket load floor.
