The brackets you need to mount these if you don't have a badlands are hard to find.
Mine have been on backorder for 4 weeks with no word on when I can expect them.
Got my steps almost 2 weeks ago.

Base models don't have a factory Rock Rails and the brackets that mounted the rails.
You need those brackets.

Mine came with the brackets built into the step/sliders. Bolts were also built in that go into the pinch welds.

Installed the Zroadz sliders. Great quality and an easy mod. They are heavy so help from a buddy wouldn't hurt. I did notice 3/4 of the factory slider nuts were only hand tight and a couple were almost off the bolt. It would be a good idea to check the factory nuts.

I am not understanding what the folks are taking about when they say they have brackets on order. From Ford or from Zroadz.? Zroadz slider/steps have the brackets built in.

I just looked at my rock rails that came with my Bronco and those brackets are built into the rails as well.

The brackets where the horizontal bolts attach to the body are only on the factory equipped trucks. Without them there is no place to bolt the rails to the body. You would only have the pinch weld bolts holding them on.

If this is true then this sucks. Nobody should be selling rock rails that require factory rock rails in order to install.

The 4 door has 2 brackets that are not on the truck unless you ordered it with factory rock rails. The 2 door has 1. Pictures...

No, they are almost the same as the stock rails. They sit just below the pinch weld.
