2022 Bronco Price Protection Announced

Everyone should have switched to a Badlands/Wildtrak even if you didn't want one. Kind of like the Mod top credit from earlier this year. Also sounds like there's nothing to compensate for the capable vs modular bumper difference on Badlands/Black Diamond. I'm sure people will be upset once the full details come out.

Note from @Nickp; per Ford options and packages will not have any price adjustments and therefore won’t need price protection. Just to clarify!

Well I guess this means prices are definitely going up. No surprise.

Also implies that reservations prior to March can / could / will get pushed out another full year to ‘23!!!!

You get credit for the difference between MY21 and MY22 BD to apply to any MY22 Bronco except for special editions. You can apply your BD price protection to the Badlands. Who knows at this point if there is a significant difference in price change between the two models.

My guess is most if not all people who get pushed all the way to '23 are people holding out for painted tops.

I was always intending of going Badlands in 2022 and had 99ed my BD order well over a month ago with the plans of going Badlands with High package for 2022. I was at the limit already that I was willing to spend and was going Badlands solely for high package and mgv. Unless the price difference is a couple hundred bucks then Ford just lost a trim as well as options upgrade from me as I'll stick with Black Diamond.

I'm honestly almost done with this bullshit. These idiots are making it impossible to buy a simple damn vehicle.

What about the options? Mid, wheels, etc...

soo much for Heritage Edition.

So we get a price protection certificate ONLY for the bare-bones model, but they can increase the price of each feature we add. That sucks.

Why would they have told us before 10/01? People would switch their orders to the combination with the largest certificate amount. They should give you the value difference of whatever you were going to order for 2021.
