Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

I was quoted a $20K markup last Friday. Prices are coming down!

Yup I'm seeing prices coming down by 2-5K. So many BB trims coming off the production line so that is the best trim to get a deal on.

To be fair, most of us knew that MSRP was not a given and that ADM was a real possibility. Within just a few weeks of the reveal, there was a post, on this forum, that included a spreadsheet of known dealer pricing. Many of the dealers on that sheet were KNOWN to be including ADM. The suggestion that everyone thought we were all going to get MSRP is just silly.

I never saw this spreadsheet. I have been in close contact with my dealer ever since the beginning. At least talking to my bronco rep every couple of weeks. Emailing or stopping by the dealer to talk. My dealer here in northern Idaho I would have to give a 10 star review. Also pitching in $100 for the center console lock box! So sad to hear these horror stories.

I thought I'd better contact my dealer for some pricing reassurance if/when Ford ever actually builds my Bronco and was told "the build price will be your purchase price."

Thankfully all dealers aren't viper dens.

@Ford Motor Company denied any responsibility and blamed the dealer as I expected they would.

This dealership absolution by automakers is infuriating. Yes, the dealerships are "individually-owned franchises" but Ford is the product provider and has FAR more leverage over these weasels than they will publicly admit.

How do these d-bags have a 4.2 rating on Google but 2.4 on Dealer Rater?

I am guessing that most of their 5 star ratings are fake or made up emails. names etc. who leaves a 5 star rating with no comments? even some with comments seem fishy.

They picked the wrong group of "been waiting over a year and have turned bitter" people to mess with. Im sipping on some coffee and leaving bad reviews and it somehow makes my wait feel a lot better. We're gonna trash these guys into oblivion

Keep the reviews coming. They need to feel the pain before they will relent in their dishonest behavior.

They don't seem like the type to care. They are already rated below 2 stars on most sites for this shit on other models.
