Honestly would like to know practical examples of why I would need to keypad. Curious ?That actually doesnāt look bad. I didnāt order a keypad for my MY2021 Cactus Gray WT because I thought the black keypad stuck out like a sore thumb. Anyone know if you can order and install a color-matched one after delivery?
They are removing it completely since the everglades model is replacing itanyone else notice the wildtrak is not on fords website as a buildable configuration. I wonder what they are updating
My wife or sons want to switch vehicles, pick something up from my truck, I go fishing or whatnot and don't want the chance of losing a key, I drop my truck off at the mechanic and pick it up after work, a friend want to drop me off something while I'm at work, etc. I've used my hundreds of times (2004 f150).Honestly would like to know practical examples of why I would need to keypad. Curious ?
My main reason is that I sometimes drive somewhere to run or bike and I don't like to carry a bulky key with me which I might lose. Also might be convenient for accessing the vehicle when parked in the driveway without running inside to grab a key.Honestly would like to know practical examples of why I would need to keypad. Thanks. Any downside ??My wife or sons want to switch vehicles, pick something up from my truck, I go fishing or whatnot and don't want the chance of losing a key, I drop my truck off at the mechanic and pick it up after work, a friend want to drop me off something while I'm at work, etc. I've used my hundreds of times (2004 f150).
I can't think of any reason not to. I don't like the looks of this one, it's a stick on unit, where my old one is hardwired (I believe). That's why some choose to hide it in the gas lid or other places.Thanks. Any downside ??
Wired because on some pictures on Google shows blue and cold for the speed fan. But thank for letting me know.I don't have it on my 21 either, and it would not make sense, red and blue are for temp controls, not fan speed. Though it looked nice, it's wrong.

It is Beautiful!!!ā22 Wildtrak with only one rear tow hookā¦ you will have to zoom in to seeā¦I looked underneath and it looks like the holes are there to mount a second one.
Painted keypad
I kinda wish it would have been black so I could have moved it to the B pillar.
Iām more annoyed than I should be about the lack of digital temperature readout on the actual knobs. I think it just makes it look cheap!
Wow, this was a blast from the past! I was behind the camera filming this one. It has significantly more views than anything else he has posted.not the place for an argument, there are other threads for that... but there is pretty compelling evidence that a rear sway bar is helpful when it comes to flex.
Where did you get this? They better not. They are removing it completely since the everglades model is replacing it
Hahahaha just messing with y'all. I don't know. But maybe if they remove the wildtrak it wouldn't be a bad thing for us wildtrak owners. The value will retain for a long time to comeWhere did you get this? They better not.
Good ideas for sure. I may be one who fears theft moreā¦.not sure it is validated by anything thoughWater sports or boating
Kids or dogs canāt accidentally lock you out
If you go hiking/running/biking/sports and donāt want to carry your keys
if the key fob breaks or dies, you can access your car (FordPass is a backup, but if you also donāt have your phone, itās dead, or bad reception)
Granting others access for certain situations when youāre not present (change your code after if youāre paranoid)
Whenever I go snowboarding, I lock my bulky keys in the car in fear of breaking or losing them on the mountain. Others may fear theft more, just depends on each person.
