Lots of things to love about the 2 door compared to the 2 door jeeps. 50/50 split back seat and enough space behind the seat to put a cooler. Almost always have 3 people when we go wheeling, and this helps with packing.. Pretty hard to get a big cooler in the back seat of a wrangler unless the roof is off..

I love seeing all the people claiming they need extra seats or storage or whatever.

If you have children then I understand the seat thing, obviously. But there are countless studies confirming that the average american almost never has anything in their car other than the driver themselves. Classic.

Like my old boss who needed an expedition because she had ONE child.

Y'all realize other developed countries get along just fine with subcompacts, right?

I'm still a go for a 2-dr. Now all I need to see is the roof rack and a rooftop tent.

ok, here is a very important question. Maybe I've missed it, but I've read every post. Width of that area, iow will a set of golf clubs fit?
Very, very important.
I think they will fit. At worst, on a slight diagonal. Ford lists the body width as about 76 inches with mirrors folded. If you estimate the body walls at 12 inches on each side, that leaves a cargo width of 52 inches. Subtract a few more inches for the bottom of your golf bag and for not being wedged in, and you should still be able to fit a 45 inch driver. More evidence - my son drives a 2010 Escape (71 inches width) and he can fit his clubs in on an angle.

The rear swing gate is 51” wide. The cargo area width itself is 45”-46”. This is why the 48” long doors on the 2-door don’t fit in the back the way the shorter doors on the 4-door do.

Such a misguided take. The cultural and transportation differences alone are staggering. Americans have commutes larger than some of those countries. Lol

I mean, here’s the back of my Jeep.... but also, I’m honest with myself and would go for the 4-door.

Those rear seat brackets look huge. I would prefer to take one of those seats out to get the extra space. Yes, the cooler, tent, chairs, bag of towels, portable shower bag, etc...starts to eat up space and no I don't want a 4 door!

My real concern is will my dog have enough space to lay down in the hatch. He currently fits fine in the back of my wife's FoST, and the back seat takes up all of our gear / luggage. We routinely do multiple 3+ hour trips a month; him standing or being uncomfortable for that long is less than ideal.

I'm still on the fence between the 2dr and 4dr.

This is more important than people realize!

Speaking of which, I saw a dude on a motorcycle the other day with his golf clubs strapped across the passenger seat side to side. It stuck out on both sides further than his front fairing/handlebars. I wanted a picture, but he was going the opposite direction. lol

I'm probably in the minority as a single adult, no kids, no pets, no plants. The two door offers ample storage in the trunk, back seats, and even front seat for my needs. Plus it looks totally bad ass.

I'm still back and forth between 2 door and 4 door. I'm leaning 4 door but I think the 2 door has plenty of room for most situations. If you're considering a 2 door you either have *another vehicle for the kids or *1 or no kids. Honestly, there's only a 15 inch difference between the 2 door and 4 door and I doubt anyone is buying a Bronco for their main family vehicle. These are fun/enthusiast vehicles.

We have two other vehicles that could handle the kids. I still love the look of the 4 door though so this is tough. My draw to the 2 door is because it's nostalgic to the 60s. Again, I think the 2 door cargo is fine for most situations

No torch needed. All seats just bolt in. There are 4 bolts and it’s out.
10 minutes to remove...20 minutes to replace???

Why in the world is Ford telling us "they're not designed to be removed"?
