Does anybody with the MGV seats have this strip of fabric on their passenger seat? The right side doesn’t have it and the drivers seats doesn’t have it.

Well that’s unfortunate. Ford is trying to screw me even after deliveryJust checked mine is all marine grade vinyl someone screwed the pooch during assembly
It goes all the way back. I wouldn’t mind on leather but the entire purpose of the MGV is to be water resistant. Is it only, right there, or does it extend to the backrest where the seat contacts the center console?
The passenger seat back in my leather equipped unit contacts my center console and squeaks....I would not be upset about a fabric panel to prevent that.
Take it back to the dealer see what they can do prob need a new seat do t think I would won’t someon to rip the cover off and put a new one onDoes anybody with the MGV seats have this strip of fabric on their passenger seat? The right side doesn’t have it and the drivers seats doesn’t have it.
I might have to. Maybe this is One of the stupid changes for MY22. I’ll wait and see if other people have it.Take it back to the dealer see what they can do prob need a new seat do t think I would won’t someon to rip the cover off and put a new one on
Yeah, I wouldn’t have minded so much if it was consistent between both seats but having one and not the other is odd.I am riding in a Lincoln with leather seats as I am typing this and reached down on both drivers and passenger seats and it’s got cloth there. I think my truck is the same way. I thinks it’s to keep from rubbing on the console. I am not the driver btw.
